Chapter 41

For the entire time Veronica was pregnant Archie was extremely overprotective. He made sure she had everything she needed. He always made sure she eat enough fruits or vegetables, they went on walks and spent much time outside in general. He always made sure she was taking things slow and that she had enough time to relax. Everleigh found out when Veronica was three and a half months pregnant. She got suspicious when Archie told her to be extra nice to mommy and to help her more with stuff in the household. She knew for sure when she noticed the bump. After that, step by step Veronica began to tell her family and friends.
Everleigh was very excited to get two siblings. Just like Archie she was very protective and made sure 'mommy and the little babies are healthy'.
When Veronica was five months pregnant they found out they're having two girls and from that moment on Everleigh was probably more excited than Veronica and Archie.

Contractions started a month before her due date. She was very scared at first but the doctor in the hospital told her that both of her baby girls are fine and twins usually come early.

Veronica wanted her girls to have powerful and especially meaningful names. Since the twins are her rainbow babies it was important to her that their names were connected to that. Archie liked the idea a lot. It took them a while before they finally chose the perfect names for their girls.
Violet Iris Andrews and Skye Atlas Andrews
Violet obviously because purple is part of a rainbow and Iris is the name of a Greek rainbow goddess.
Skye Atlas is just the perfect combination of names for Veronica. Sky, the place where rainbows are and the place where their little baby is. Atlas reminded her so much of a guid. Their little guid through pain and sadness to joy and happiness. A guid that shows the most beautiful places in the night sky.

Veronica was in love with both of the names. Archie loved them too. They were perfect but he loved even more to see his soon to be wife happy again.

Now she sits on the hospital bed, Archie sits next to her. Each of them hold a baby in their arms.
Both of them look just like Veronica. They have dark brown eyes and olive skin but their hair is a little lighter.

"They're so beautiful Ronnie. I'm proud of you. You did amazing" Archie smiles. He kisses Veronica's cheek before he turns his gaze back to the little girl in this arms. "I love them so much already. I love you too. You know I would die for you but I would burn the whole world down for them"

"You're so cute Archie"

A chuckle leaves his mouth. "You're cute too and we make really cute babies. Look at their tiny little hands and their tiny little feet and their tiny noses. They're perfect just like their mommy"

"Archie, I'm still very emotional. If you keep on being this cute, I'm gonna cry" Veronica says with a shaky voice. It makes Archie chuckle. He kisses her cheek again before he mumbles "sorry" into her ear.

"Do you want me to get Ev and my mom?"

"Mhm" she nods.

"Okay I'll lay down Violet right here next to you on the bed"

Veronica nods again as she watches Archie walk out of the room. She lays Skye right next to Violet and closes her eyes for just a second. Her eyes flutter back open when she can hear someone open the door to her room. It's Archie and Everleigh. Mary decided to give the family a few minutes to themselves before she meets her new granddaughters.

"Hi sweetheart" Veronica smiles as Everleigh slowly walks into the room, holding on tight to Archie's hand. He lifts her onto the bed and sits down next to her.

"Do you want to meet your sisters?"

"Mhm" she mumbles.

"This is Violet" Veronica smiles and points to the little baby girl on the left and then to the one on the right. "And this is Skye"
