"We're back on The BBC Late Show! Our next guest is a well known British writer who just released her new novel: Love Yourself. Everyone please welcome the one and only Katherine Lee!" Alex said directly to the audience.
"Mr Turner, Ms Lee, tonight's guest, wants to see you. She asked me if she could come in."
"Let her in". Alex, who was sitting on a couch in his personal dressing room, said.
"Okay. I'll tell her, she'll be here in any second".
"Cool. Thanks, Max". He said, offering his assistant a sweet smile.
Max closed the door and left the room. Alex slouched in the couch and ran his hands through his hair, until he heard a knock at the door.
"Come in!" He shouted, with a cocky smile on his face.
"Babe?" Kate said, entering the room holding a beer on her hand.
"Over here, love". Kate oriented herself by the direction of the sound. She walked over the couch where Alex was sprawled, and she smiled when she saw her boyfriend on an unbuttoned, plain and white shirt.
"Hey". She said, leaning in a bit and kissing Alex's lips softly.
"Hey". He whispered after pulling away a little, gripping Kate's arm so she would fell into the sofa, next to him.
"So, we're here". She kissed his lips again, smiling through the kiss.
"We are". He wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up a little, making her sit on his lap.
They continued kissing softly for a few minutes, as they didn't want to take things too far in that dressing room.
After a few minutes, they pulled away and sat in the couch once again, one next to another.
"Can I have some beer?" He asked, pointing at Kate's drink.
"Sure." She handed him the small bottle and he took a sip, licking his lips after that.
"So, are you nervous?" She asked, drawing circles with her index finger on his thigh.
"A bit. It's gonna be weird, you know, having you in front of me asking you questions whose answers I already know".
"Yeah, a bit, but don't worry, everything's gonna be okay, alright?" She said, taking her index finger to his jawline, which she started to delineate carefully.
"I know, love, but I'm worried about the audience finding out about us. I don't want our relationship to affect neither of our careers, you know."
"Hey, don't worry, okay? They won't find out about us, we've been together for a long time and no one has ever suspected anything, right?" He shook his head.
