"Yes. Who's speaking?"

"This is Alex. Alex Turner".

Fuck Turner, keep that out of your mind. She's going to play this show and you're never going to see her again. She was your high school crush, fucking forget her, it's time to move on.

"Come on fuckers, let's go to my place. Drinks on me".

The boys and Vic arrived in the woman's house. Untidy as ever, Alex grinned as he remembered his friend's organization issue.

"Go sit on the settee, I'll grab you some drinks. Fancy some scotch, Turner?

"Sure". Alex nodded and smiled.

"Two beers for me and Malley". The drummer said. "Cook, what do you want?"

"I'd like some gin if you have. You know, they say it's a good remedy for bone healing". Matt, Nick and Vic burst  in laugh, while Alex just gave him his usual cheeky grin.

"They who? The guy from the liquor store?" Matt giggled and Jamie showed him is middle finger.

"The fucking queen did, you bastard!"

"Yeah, sure. Whatever mate". He wiped a bunch of tears from his eyes and they all sat down on the couch.

Nick, Jamie and Alex sat on the sofa, while Matt decided to take the floor so they could be a little more comfortable, as the couch wasn't big.

After a few minutes, Vic came back with the drinks, and after passing Jamie and Alex two glasses to pour their drinks on, she sat next to Matt and the band started chatting.

"So Vic, are you seeing someone right now?" Alex asked and took a sip of his scotch.

"Smooth". She thought.

"Not really. You?" Two could play this game. Matt, Nick and Jamie pronounced a common "ouu" and Alex looked at her, defiant.
