"Alex, I'm home!" Claudia exclaimed as she opened the door and left her keys on the table next to the entrance.

"I'm in the living room!" He said.  Claudia walked through the corridor of their shared house until she reached the room.

She found a nervous Alex rummaging through the small drawer below the TV. He was wearing a loose, grey T-shirt and a pair of sweatpants. A necklace hanged loosely in his chest, and his hair was ruffled and messy, as he had been saving it for quite long.

"What are you doing?" Claudia approached him, sitting next to him on the floor.

"Have you seen my pencil case? I can't find it anywhere." He asked, running his fingers through his hair, pushing some locks off his face.

"It's in the bedroom, I think. Why?" He got up without answering her question, and jogged to the room. A few moments later, he came back with the small object in his hand, and sat down in the couch.

"Are you going to answer my question? Or just give me my 'hello, love' kiss?" She walked towards him, and slouched in the sofa.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, love." He leaned and cupped her cheek, placing a soft kiss on her lips, feeling her smile through it. After years of being together, he still had the ability to make her smile every time they kissed.

"That's better. Now, I need answers, Turner." She sat still and Alex gulped.

"N-nothing. I don't wanna tell you. You'll laugh at me." His cheeks turned red and Claudia frowned. After all, Alex was still that shy lad from Sheffield, his shyness won't ever disipate and Claudia knew that.

"Alex, I wouldn't ever laugh at you. C'mon, tell me." She stroke his cheek with her thumb and pecked his Roman nose, earning a giggle from him.

"Fine. " He sighed. "I was studying."

"Studying? For what? I mean, I know you're a very smart and cultured man, but baby, you're in a successful band, you don't need a degree."

"It's not uni related. I was learning Spanish." Claudia rose her eyebrows, looking at him with desbelief and surprise.

"Wow, I didn't see that coming. That's wonderful, baby, but may I ask why?"

"I'm learning it for you, to be able to communicate with your family. Although I have already met your parents, I want them to understand me in their own language, to get to know them better. That also goes for your friends: they are an important part of your life, and I wanna be in it. I wanna be in every part of your life, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, so if I have to learn a new language for you, I will."

"I needed to find my pencil case because that's where I keep my highlighters and pencils, I thought it would be easier to learn if I took visual and simple notes rather than just writing stuff in a paper." Claudia couldn't help but smile in adoration for how thoughtful and caring her boyfriend was.
