The ambulance arrived to the beach and took Zack to the hospital. Jessie called his parents once we followed behind in our cars. Tears couldn't stop wetting my face. Randi rode with me for support. After parking, we walked through the doors and stopped at the receptionist's desk. "Zack Morris?" I asked. His parents were on their way as we speak. She studied the papers and nodded. "Room 310." She told me. Slater motioned us to run. "Cmon, let's go!" He said. We went inside the elevator and the doors closed itself. All I'm thinking about is Zack. I'm completely scared if I'll lose him or what happened to him involves something worse. Kelly and Lisa intertwined their arms with mine, comforting me. I smiled softly. Screech sighed sadly. "I don't get it. Zack is really strong! This shouldn't happened." He said. Randi took a deep breath. "Don't worry, Screech. He'll be alright. These things happen all the time but we'll get through this." He assured. Nina became too traumatized and almost had a panic attack. It's why she went home. I guess it reminded her of getting kidnapped and her life being on the line. The doors reopened, letting us find his hospital room. "Got it!" Randi said. I breathed a breath of relief. We walked in and saw him asleep in bed. Blankets covering his body, an IV attached to his arm and wore a hospital gown. We grabbed the three chairs to sit. I sat beside him while the gang sat or stand in the room. A moment of silence was present. Screech cleared his throat. "Is anyone gonna wake him up?" He asked. They almost smacked him until I motioned them to stop. He's right on that. My hand intertwined with his. "Zack, wake up. It's us. Wake up." I whispered in his ear. He stirred for a second and woke up. The gang smiled, breathing a breath of relief. We made eye contact. He smiled warmly. "Hi, princess." He said softly. I smiled and hugged him. He hugged back. Everyone joined the hug. "We thought you were gone!" Screech whined. We laughed more, parting. Kelly wiped a tear. "So happy you're ok!" She beamed. Zack nodded in disagreement. "You're not losing me that easily." He said. Slater sighed. "Preppy, what happened tonight?" He asked. He scoffed. "It doesn't matter." He told him. Jessie crossed her arms. "Really? Cause it looked like you were having a seizure." She said sarcastically. Zack rolled his eyes. The doctor came in. He smiled nicely toward everyone. "Hello, how's everyone doing?" He asked. "Good!" We said in unison. I cleared my throat. "Doc, have you found out what went wrong with Zack?" I asked. He nodded. "Yes. Have you felt dizziness or extreme heat when it's not hot lately?" He asked. Zack shifted himself and took a deep breath. "Yeah. I've been feeling like this for a week." He answered. The doctor nodded in understanding and gripped his clipboard. "Usually this occurs if you had high fevers, high or low blood sugar or brain concussion." He continued. He covered his face embarrassingly. Our jaws dropped, realizing the truth of his incident. My eyes widened. "You had a brain concussion?" I asked. He scoffed and smiled nervously. "No! No way! I'm not clumsy!" He said. Randi rolled his eyes. "Your allergies are clumsy." He mumbled. Screech felt the warmth of his forehead. "Why is your forehead burning up?" He asked. Kelly fanned herself. "Maybe it's too hot." She agreed. Zack groaned frustratingly. "Guys! I didn't have a brain concussion! I'm really fine!" He lied. I pulled out my phone and pretended to text Troy. They watched in confusion. "Who are you calling, Mia?" Lisa asked. I fake smiled. "Troy." I told him. He panicked and begged the doctor to cure his disease. Everyone huffed out of annoyance. "Speak up, Zack." I said firmly. He readied himself and took a deep breath. "Fine. It happened when I came home from the arcade with Screech. I felt very dizzy due to the flashing lights and when I reached for food in the cabinet, a can fell on my head. I was unconscious for 30 minutes and woke up in my room with my Mom giving me water." He explained. I looked at in awe and rubbed his shoulder. Lisa playfully rolled her eyes. "You're lucky to be ok." She said, smiling. Screech nodded in agreement. "It'll be sadder than the end of Puss N Boots." He added. The doctor hummed in response. "Dizziness and the concussion caused the seizure. I recommend medicine to help, no arcade games because the effect of the lightning makes you dizzy and drink water after taking medicine." He said.
He nodded in understanding. A nurse stopped by, clearing her throat. "Excuse me, Zack's parents are here." She informed. Slater smiled sheepishly. "Right. We should give preppy some space." He said. They chatted in agreement. Randi raised an eyebrow. "Coming Mia?" He asked. I nodded my head no and held his hand. "I'll stay." I told him. He stuck his tongue out disgustingly and walked out.

Later, Zack's family came to see him. I waited patiently outside the room because the doctor needed to do an EG scan on his brain. Thankfully, all was clear. Meanwhile, he was given dinner by the staff. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you." He said softly. I sighed sadly. "You really scared me, Zack. Of course I can't control these things happening. It's just...seeing you in pain scared me. Nina didn't come because she was traumatized and would've had a panic attack because it reminded her when she was kidnapped. All I want is to not lose any of you." I said. Tears fell from my eyes. His arms cradled me in his arms. He kissed my forehead. "Shh, don't cry. I'm here. We're never leaving you and I meant it." He said in a soothing voice. I sniffled, wiping my eyes. We parted. He caressed my hair. "I love you and I promise to never scare you like that ever." He said in a serious tone. God, I'm so lucky to have him in my life. I smiled warmly. "Aww Zack. I love you so much." I said. We kissed passionately. He rubbed my hair. I really love Zack more than life itself. He's my parachute to break my fall every time. We parted. He picked up the remote to turn on the TV. "Hm, I hope this don't got Grey's Anatomy." He joked. I chuckled and pecked his cheek. He tried covering his red cheeks. So cute!

We became very exhausted and Zack was discharged from the hospital. I explained to my parents about what happened and told Nina he was ok. Mom helped give medication to relax her anxiousness. Thoughts about Zack, knowing he'll be with me always fluttered my heart. She walked back in, holding a coffee mug. I flunked myself on the bed and got under the blankets. "That. Was. Crazy." I admitted. Nina slowly nodded. "Are you ok? Everything is fine. Zack is perfectly ok." I assured. She huffed, wiping her red puffed eyes.
I didn't even know she was crying. I got off the bed and sat beside her. My arm wrapped around her neck. "I'm sorry! Sorry I didn't come. So many dark memories were..." she trailed off. I nodded in understanding. "I know. Memories of being captive, force feeding and abuse. It's ok to cry about it! Just let it all out. Always know nothing's ever going to hurt you again. You're with me, Mom and Dad, Morgan and especially Jack. I got you Nini." I said in a soothing voice. She breathed through crying and laid her head on my shoulder. I smiled, rubbing her arm comfortably. "Thanks Mia. I got you too." She whispered. Once we parted, she drank the mug of green tea before falling asleep instantly. I got under the covers and turned off the nightlight. This summer is wrapping up nicely. Our biggest challenge; first day of school.
