This is it. SAT testing and it's not really my worry right now. I'm actually nervous about meeting the Disney cast and working on a song with them. Many kids could have this opportunity and I became the first. Lexi texted me that I'm supposed to come to the studio on Monday, the week after next week. Thankfully I start working on my music video for Picture This next week. My alarm buzzed. I groaned softly and shut it off. I rolled out of bed and did my morning routine and took a shower. I got dressed and ruffled my hair. The door opened, revealing mom. She smiled. "Good morning! Know what today is?" She said. I chuckled. "Yeah I know. Taking the SATs." I said. "I wanna let you know I'm really proud of you and how you're still going forward after Nina." She said. Oh, I forgot about her. But Alyssa's right. I should be thinking about doing the test then talk about her sometime. I smiled a little. "Thanks mom. I miss her a lot." I said. We hugged. I inhaled my soft cries and wiped my eyes. We parted. "Ok! The important food of the day is breakfast!" She said. I laughed as I wrapped my backpack around my shoulder. We came downstairs and saw Dad cooking eggs with Morgan. I smirked. "Someone's learning to cook, huh?" I said. Morgan nodded. "I made you pancakes and the eggs are almost ready." She said, smiling. I smiled and began eating. Mom drank her coffee and ate her plate. "Are you worried about your SAT, sweetie? Or you're fine?" Dad asked. I looked up from the food. "Why you asked?" I said. "Because lots of kids freak out about their SATs and afraid they'll mess up or earn a bad score." He told me. I nodded my head no. "I'm not concerned. I'll just do my best and probably have fun." I said. He smiled and gave a thumbs up. "Good! That's mi pequeña niña." He said. I smiled. "Gracias Papa." I said. If you're confused, our favorite language is Spanish. I totally spoke Spanish from a younger age and caught up with it years later. Nina learnt it before. The door bell ringed. It opened and there was Randi. He smiled. "Sup Rainy fam!" He said. Morgan chuckled. He playfully rubbed her hair and we fist-bumped. Dad smiled. "Hey Randi! Cómo estás?" He said. Randi chuckled. "Todo bien! Yoy alas los SAT." He said. Morgan and mom was really confused. I rolled my eyes. "He said he's all good and he'll ace the SAT." I said. They nodded in understanding. "Have you ate breakfast?" Mom asked. Randi aced Spanish class because he likes the language. He nodded. "I'm here waiting on this mamacita to drive me." He said. I finished eating and grabbed my backpack. Mom kissed our cheeks. "Good luck you two! Morgan, let's go." She said. She grabbed her backpack and took the last strawberry. We walked out of the house. Randi hopped in the drivers seat. I raised an eyebrow. "What?" He said. "You think you're driving my car? No hay manera amigo!" I sassed. He smiled innocently. "Perdona, mamacita. Hop in!" He said. I pouted and hopped in the second seat. He pulled from the driveway and onto the road.

At my locker, I pulled out my English notebook and folder. We had two classes before 10pm when we go testing. I also pulled out my glasses. Reading glasses for when I take the test. Sometimes I had problems reading things so I have them in case. Zack came down the staircase and saw me. I smiled and waved. He was confused as he walked up to me. "Excuse me, nerd? Who are you? And this locker's not yours." He said. I laughed. "Zack, it's me Mia." I said. He scoffed. "No way! Mia is a gorgeous girl with no glasses." He said. I raised an eyebrow. Is he serious? I took them off and sighed. His jaw dropped. "Mia? That was you? I didn't recognized you with those nerdy glasses." He said. I fake smiled. "I didn't recognize you with that rude comment." I slightly growled. Zack kissed my lips softly. "I'm sorry. There's so many nerds who wear glasses so I was confused." He said. I chuckled. "They are reading glasses I need whenever I could barely read stuff. I'll wear them when we take the SAT." I said. I put the glasses back on and closed my locker. He caressed my hair. "You look really beautiful with them." He said, smiling. I madly blushed. "Stop." I muttered. He wrapped his arm around my neck. The bell rang. "Nervous for the test?" I asked. He smirked. "Nope! I should be at the beach, working on my TAN." He said. I laughed as we left to English period.

Me and Randi caught up with the gang at the Max. We each held envelopes of our SAT scores. I sat between Screech and Lisa. He sat next to Kelly and Jessie. Slater had a chair with Zack next to him. Jessie's pumped about it because she's Stanford-bound. "Hey guys!" We said. They smiled. "Hey!" They said. Kelly smiled. "Ok guys, are you ready?" She asked. Randi took a deep breath. "As I'll ever be." He said. I patted his shoulder. "Tienes esto primo." I whispered in his ear. He nodded. "On a count of three. One...two...three!" Jessie said. We immediately opened the envelopes. I sighed and opened mine's. My eyes skimmed through the paper. Thankfully, I still wore the glasses. My score is....450? What?! My jaw dropped. Everyone else cheered about their good scores. Jessie, unfortunately, had one under 12. Randi noticed my shock state. "You ok?" He asked. "Mira esto." I whispered. He took the paper and skimmed through it. His eyes widened. "Whoa! You got 450!" He said. Everybody's attention laid on me in shock. "You got 450?" Jessie asked in disbelief. I nodded. "Mia and Zack are smarter than Jimmy Neutron." Screech added. What about Zack's score? I skimmed through his score paper. He earned 502! Wow! That's crazy. I smiled in astonishment. "502? That's really amazing, Zack!" I said. He smiled. "Yours is too." He said. I sighed happily. "I'm so proud of you. I told you you are smart." I said. I hugged him. He smiled and hugged back. Randi cheered wildly. "Whoo! This amigo got 549!" He said. Everyone responded with congrats, awesome and wow. Jessie was still in disbelief. We hugged and fist-bumped. I felt bad for Jessie though. But she's such a smart-driven person and any college would be lucky to accept her. We finished lunch and went back to the school.

History class was cut so we can check out any colleges to admit. None had my best interests.
Maybe I could do homeschool college. Belding called me and Zack to his office to say he enrolled us in Calculus classes. I strongly declined because one, I'm not a fan and two, nerds join those classes. Mostly Jessie was still upset about Stanford not accepting her. They're idiots because she's truly a genius. "Mia, check out homeschool college if you're interested. Your mom told me about you doing music so I think if you enroll in homeschool, it'll do well while you work as a musician." He said. I smiled. "Cool! What is it?" I asked. He handed me two brochures. One said GCU: Grand Canyon University and FSU: Full Sail University. "Thanks." I said. He nodded as I walked out. Zack just left so I don't know where he is. Hopefully, he could help Jessie. She's loosing it just because of a score.

Later, I looked through the brochures at the Max. Both colleges involved the arts and Full Sail seem really awesome. I could work on songs as an assignment and there's a showcase for all the newcomers to perform. Randi looked through other brochures. I looked up from the papers. "Randi?" I said. He looked at me. "Yeah?" He said. I smiled. "These are homeschool colleges called Grand Canyon and Full Sail. They seem cool because it involved the arts but Full Sail has everything." I said. Randi chuckled. "I could tell. You couldn't stop looking at their brochure more." He said. I sighed happily. "This one would be great! I can make my songs for an assignment, attend dance classes and perform at showcases. It's like they only want you to succeed at being creative and artistic." I said. He chuckled. "I also wanna do homeschool. I wanna stay home with everyone and catch up after six years." He told me. I nodded. My brain clicked. Omg! I forgot about the gang! They're still at school because Zack made a plan with James, their old friend and waiter to help Jessie go to Stanford. I shoved the papers in my backpack. "We should get back to school." I said. He was confused. "Why?" He asked. "Three words. Jessie and everyone." I said. I got up and he followed behind. SATs are really important to some kids but scores doesn't define your uniqueness.
