Nighttime struck during 8pm. I finished talking with Troy on the phone. I'm excited for him and Dylan to come to Bayside in the fall. He couldn't come over due to practicing for basketball tryouts. Dylan obviously as well. Soon I heard breaking glass. I jumped a bit. What the hell was that? I rolled out of bed and came downstairs. My eyes widened. A tall boy with brown hair who looked my age stood nervously. Shards of glass were on the floor. They look very familiar. My brain clicked. No...way!! I smiled happily. "Jackson?" I said. He nodded, smiling. I hugged him tightly. He hugged me back.
Jackson and Max are my cousins from San Fransisco. Their dad is my Mom's half-brother who moved to San Fransisco when he was in his 20s. It's when he met Aunt DJ and fell in love. They only visit during summers, even Randi's absence hurt them twice as much. I didn't know they came today. We parted. He smiled. "How are you?" He asked. I chuckled. "I'm great! It feels like forever since the last time we seen each other." I said. He cleared his throat. "Remember Christmas? Our Dad was there." He mumbled. I sighed sadly, remembering the day they lost their father. "I'm so sorry." I said. I hugged him. He hugged back tightly. We parted. "Where's Max?" I asked. He almost spoke until footsteps were heard upstairs. "Hm, I miss you buddy." Morgan said. Max sighed happily. "You're like the best friend besides my lovely lady." He said. She looked at him weirdly. He cleared his throat. "I'll explain later." He told her. She nodded in understanding. Jackson shrugged. "There he is." He said. I playfully rolled my eyes and smiled. "Hey Max! Anything new on Blue Bloods?" I asked. His favorite show of all time. No one knows that better than the family. He groaned. "No! I can't stand TV companies wasting money off these good stuff!" He whined. Morgan patted his shoulder. "Anyways, why are you guys here?" I asked. Jackson raised an eyebrow. "You didn't get a text from Aunt Ashlie?" He asked. I pulled out my phone and groaned. "No but a reminder." I told him.

Reminder; Family Vacay in San Fransisco!!

We're supposed to go visit everyone in San Fransisco today. Man, I should've start packing!
Now I'm not ready. "Ugh, I'm sorry I forgot!" I apologized. Morgan scoffed and smirked. "Don't worry, your bags were packed by me when you were sleep last night. I'm sure your friends will understand. Especially your boyfriend." She said, using air quotes. Jackson's jaw dropped. "Boyfriend?! Who said you have a boyfriend?!" He freaked. Max looked at him confusedly. "Morgan did." He answered. I chuckled and patted his shoulder. "Relax. He's a good guy." I told him. He breathed a breath of relief. Myles ran downstairs and ran circles around them. He barked softly. I motioned him to come to my grasp. "Awe, you can't be alone cutie." I cooed. Max smiled. "You can bring Myles with us! Cosmo will love a new playmate." He said. Awe, I miss their little dog Cosmo. He's a golden retriever so he must be bigger now. I shrugged and smiled. "K! Let's go!" I said. They cheered excitingly. Jackson helped me carry my bags...or at least tried. Morgan looked around confusedly. "Does anybody know where's Nina?" She asked. We walked out of the house to see her inside the Mercedes with Aunt Stephanie.
She waved, smirking. I rolled my eyes and opened the door. Jackson put my bags in the trunk with hers. I smiled and hugged Aunt Steph. She chuckled and hugged back. "How are you M?" She asked. I nodded. "I'm good. I miss you and Aunt DJ." I told her. We parted. Jackson was in the front seat while me, Nina and Max are in the backseat. Aunt Steph started the engine and drove off. Evening came early but San Fransisco is like four hours away. We got snacks from a gas station, listened to music and used Morgan's tablet to watch movies. Nina yawned, rubbing her hair. "Go ahead." I whispered. She laid her head on my shoulder to fall asleep. Jackson is already asleep and so is Max. Morgan was still finishing her bag of chips while watching Alexa & Katie. I smiled, resting my head on my fist. Sleepiness took over and I fell into a slumber.

I felt someone shaking me gently. My eyes opened slowly to see Jackson. "Wake up, wake up Mia." He whispered in a soothing voice. I looked around and realized we weren't in Aunt Steph's car. I sighed. "Ok, before I call the police, where are we?" I asked. He chuckled. "We crashed in a hotel suite for the night. You were still sleep so I carried you to bed. Me, you and Nina share the same room." He told me. The windows shone the bright sunlight which blinded me. I smiled. "Are we in San Francisco?" I asked. He returned the gesture and nodded. "Aunt Steph's waiting so let's get ready to grab breakfast and go home." He said. I rolled out of bed. Nina came out of the bathroom. She smiled happily. "Good morning, I'm so excited to meet Aunt DJ and Aunt Kimmy!" She said. We laughed. "Get out, I need to change." I told Jackson. He nodded and left the room. I took a shower and changed into this outfit:
