Thursday became a relaxing morning for me from all the chaos of yesterday. Nina and I's in our room, reading two books after breakfast and showering. Mine is Superhero High: Wonder Woman and hers is Girls World magazine. We been obsessed with these books for a while. I turned to another page and chapter. Thankfully, my phone's not buzzing due to Daniel's pervert posts about me. Let's hope he doesn't run into Zack any time soon. "Cool." She muttered. I looked at her confusedly. "What?" I asked. She looked up and smiled. "New DIY crafts! These are so cool!" She said. I smiled. "Hm, remember we used to paint when we were younger?" I asked. She giggled. "Yup! I think we randomly drew all over the paper." She said. We laughed for a minute. Nina took a deep breath. "But I kept in touch with that talent and drew this." She said. She got off the bed, heading toward her dresser. She pulled out a piece of paper from inside her notebook. I closed my book and sat beside her. She turned, showing this painting. My eyes widened. It's so beautiful! She paints really good. I smiled widely. "This is amazing! You must've spent many days on this picture." I said. She nodded in agreement. "I been in many art classes throughout my life. Calvin bought me brushes, cans of paint and especially color pencils." She explained. I raised an eyebrow. She sighed. "He was being a parent." She said. I nodded in understanding. I admired this painting already. "What do you call it?" I asked. She looked at it and smiled. "The Fearless Rider." She said. I like that name! Sounds good. "Good name." I said. Nina slid it back in her notebook. "I have a few paintings in here. Have you painted anything?" She said and flunked herself on the bed. I went under my bed and pulled out a box of old belongings. The same Morgan found. I brought my art folder from kindergarten. It's been years since I used it. It's blue with red swirls. I sighed. "After we separated, I couldn't go on to keep painting so I only have three paintings. Hope you like them." I told her. She was stunned about me not drawing but nodded. I pulled out the pictures and shown them to her. Her eyes widened. "Wonderful! So pretty!" She said. I chuckled. "I think I watched Beauty and the Beast when I drew the rose." I joked. She laughed and stared at the third picture. "I love this one! It really shows your love for music." She told me. I nodded in agreement. "My art teacher loved the first one and practically wanted to frame it." I said. We laughed more. I carefully put them in the folder and slid the box underneath. "Let's get back to—she was cut off by her phone buzzing. She picked it up and answered. "Hello? Yeah, why? Are you sure about this? Phew! Ok!" She said and hung up. I was confused. "What's up?" I asked. Nina huffed. "Alyssa needs our help with babysitting Brandon and Kevin because everybody's busy...well, Mason and Miles. The rest of them are probably surfing or going on dates." She quickly said. My jaw dropped. Babysitting? Again? Ugh! I groaned. "You don't even know what it's like babysitting Nami and Jr." I said. She rolled her eyes. "Same for Brandon and Kevin. Cmon, we're just helping her out." She said. I scoffed. "Why? They're a handful?" I asked sarcastically. "Don't jinx it." She quickly said. We got dressed and applied makeup. I honked my car, getting inside.
