Me and Zack's alone time got much steamy. Don't freak, our clothes weren't even off and he left before my parents came home. I shared my bed with Lexi for the night. Morning rose and today was Friday. I hella love Fridays! Mostly because I got the weekend and no school on weekends. I rolled out of bed and did my morning routine. I'm not sure of Lexi's coming with me. She'll get caught by Mr. Belding once she does. I got dressed and opened my music equipment. I finished my first original song ever and I wanted to record it. I started playing on my piano. My first song was called Fun. It's all about the word...well fun. I smiled as I pressed the keys. I began to belt out the lyrics.

I stopped when the door opened. Lexi came with two breakfast plates. She smiled. "Your mom made breakfast- wait! Are you working on your new song?" She said. I nodded. "I finished but I need to record it." I said. She looked confused. "I thought your first song is Cold as You?" She said. I nodded in disagreement. "Nope! It's my first acoustic song." I told her. She nodded in understanding. I sighed. "I need to record my new song but I don't have a recording booth." I said. Her eyes widened with a smile. I was confused. "What?" I said. She snapped her fingers in remembrance. "Remember last Christmas? I was about to send you my gift but I couldn't cause I was far with everyone. Thankfully, I took it with me!" She said, going to my bed. She lifted up my bed and pulled out a big red box with a green ribbon. "Little help here!" She said. I helped her make the box stand. She breathed a breath of relief. I smiled. "What is this?" I asked. She squealed. "Open it!" She said. I began ripping the wrappers off the box. Much quicker cause I'm a sucker for holiday and birthday gifts. My jaw dropped. This is exactly what I wanted. A big mic stand. I smiled widely and hugged Lexi. She laughed and hugged back. "Thank you so much!" I said. She smiled. "You're welcome, sweetie! This is to get your music career starting from here!" She said. I cheered. "Why don't we do a song now? Maybe two!" She said. I looked at her. "Why two?" I asked. "Because you'll do a cover of your favorite song and video for it!" She said. I sighed. "Lex, how are we gonna do that? I have to get to school now." I said. She rolled her eyes. "I meant when school's not today. We should do it after!" She said. Hmm, I started thinking for a minute. I really wanna do this! I shrugged. "Eh, why not?" I said. She cheered. I laughed. My phone buzzed. Zack was calling. I answered. "Hello?" I said. "Hi beautiful." The cute deep voice said. I giggled. "Hi blondie! I miss you already." I said. "Where are you? Coming to school?" He asked. I cleared my throat. "Yup!" I said. "Great! I'll see you there, love you." He said. I smiled. "Love you too." I said and hung up. Lexi smirked. "Boyfriend troubles?" She said. I smirked. "More like missing me." I said. She chuckled. I grabbed my backpack and started eating. She ate as well before we ran downstairs. Mom saw me and sighed in relief. "There you are! I was starting to get worried." She said. I playfully rolled my eyes. "Mom, I told you I was working on my songs." I said. Morgan chuckled. Lexi smirked and handed her a chocolate bar from her back. She smiled and slid it in her lunchbox. I swear we spoil Morgan a lot. "7:40, lets go!" Mom said. I quickly got up and wrapped my backpack on my shoulder. Morgan grabbed hers and lunchbox. Lexi played with her hair and patted my shoulder. "Have fun! We'll do the songs when you get back!" She said. I nodded, smiling. We ran to mom's car and got in our usual seats.
