Another lit day! It's a very lit one because me and the gang's at the Max. Yes, that's usually what we do but this time it's Friday! I'm still ecstatic about the weekend. One more week and summer time!
We sat on our original booth and I was next to Zack. Kelly, Randi and Slater grabbed chairs on the table. Screech, Jessie and Lisa sat across. Max arrived with my burger and fries. He smiled. "Burger and fries for the early birthday girl!" He said. I chuckled and took the plate. Kelly sighed happily. "So Lisa, when are we supposed to leave for Florida?" She asked. She smiled. "Since school will be out the week after next week, it'll be on the 28th!" She said. We cheered and chatted excitingly. Zack smiled. "Awesome! Also awesome school's out after one more week." He said. We laughed. I grabbed my burger and took a bite. Mustard began spilling from the burger. Slater raised an eyebrow. "Eww, is that mustard?" He asked. I nodded. "Sometimes I like mustard on my burgers." I said. Randi chuckled. "It's true! During family dinner, she playfully squeezed both bottles on the bun." He joked. I rolled my eyes. Everyone laughed except for Zack. His eyes widened. "Mustard?!" He said. We shared confusion. He covered his mouth and backed away from me. "Zack, what's wrong?" Jessie asked. Screech's jaw dropped. "Oh no! He can't be near mustard!" He said. Zack breathed heavily. I looked at him worriedly. "What do you mean?" I asked. He almost spoke till blood flow out of Zack's nose. We got off the booth once it poured out. All our jaws dropped. "He's having a nosebleed! He needs paper towels!" Jessie panicked. I grabbed a few napkins and held onto his bleeding nose. He groaned in pain. "It hurts!" He said. Everyone began to notice our scene. "Should we call 911?" Kelly asked. Screech nodded his head no. "No! This happens any time he meets mustard! Thanks a lot, Mia." He said. They rolled their eyes and I growled at him. He blew his nose a couple of times and Randi gave him more napkins. He took a deep breath and wiped his nose. I sighed. "Are you ok now?" I asked. He looked up and nodded. "Yeah. I think so." He said. We breathed a breath of relief. "What was that about?" Lisa asked. "My darling, Zack's allergic to- he cut him off. "Nothing! That was just an unexpected nosebleed. Sometimes I get them unexpectedly." He said. I studied his face and knew he basically lied. The gang nodded in understanding. "Is anyone's gonna skip lunch? I'm still hungry." Randi said. We chatted in agreement and sat down. I scrape the mustard out of my burger so he won't bleed again. What he said didn't happen unexpectedly.

We came back to school and I opened my locker for history utensils. Zack's nose was cleaned up and luckily, nobody ordered burgers with mustard. I sighed. "Are you ok? What happened was a little scary." I said. He scoffed. "I'm ok! Nosebleeds just sometimes happen to me." He said, smiling. I raised an eyebrow. "Zack." I said. He smirked. "Mia..." he said. I rolled my eyes. "I'm not falling for this." I said. Lisa walked up to us and smiled. "Check these earrings out! Apparently, Screech spent half his chore money to get me these for my earlier birthday." She said. I looked at her in awe. She wore sparkle-silver earrings. Zack began scratching himself. He smiled nervously. "Um, Lisa...what kind of earrings are they?" He asked. She shrugged. "Just metal earrings." She said. His jaw dropped. "Metal?!" He whispered/yelled. He continued scratching every part of his body. I huffed and crossed my arms. "Zack, what's going on?" I asked. "Nothing! Just need Lisa to get the earrings away from me!" He said. She looked at him weirdly and backed away. Slater was confused. "You good, preppy? You seem a little itchy." He said. I groaned softly. "My thoughts exactly." I muttered. Zack playfully rolled his eyes while scratching his arm. "Babe, I guarantee you I'm perfectly fine." He said. Screech handed him an ointment gel. He smiled. "Luckily, I kept your ointment- he cut him off and took the bottle. "Thanks, Screech. I appreciate it." He said through gritted teeth. He gave a thumbs up. Slater laughed. "Ointment? Why? Should that make the boo boo go away?" He teased. I smacked his arm as he chuckled. Zack huffed and ran to the bathroom. Jessie sighed. "That's not funny, Slater. Something's wrong with Zack." She said. I crossed my arms. "Obviously. Let's wait it out till we finally confront him." I said. They nodded in agreement. "Maybe I should keep this in my locker." Screech said, holding a bottle of mustard. Lisa took the bottle and whacked his head. He yelped and rubbed it. The bell rang and we walked off to class.
