One week later.

The 4th of July party was awesome...not sure about switching bodies with Kelly. Zack and Screech? That's a lot funnier. I spent last week at home with everybody because we're this close to finding Nina. The timing is too long and I can't wait forever to explain to the gang. If only there's another sign to help. Just one sign! Today was now Monday. I ate my breakfast and sat on my bed with laptop in front of me. I looked at pictures of her on her Instagram. She look so much like me. There a few videos of herself singing. I sighed sadly. There's got to be a way to find out where she is and the kidnapper. My parents contacted the police and they haven't gave answers. Why? Usually they would and send a search party. Thoughts left my mind as the door opened. Morgan. She smiled. "Hey, just came to check on you." She said. I fake smiled. "You're waiting for me to give you a birthday gift, aren't you?" I asked. She quickly nodded and cheered. I chuckled and went on my laptop. She sat beside me, looking at pictures of Nina. "Wow. She's very pretty." She said. I nodded in agreement. "All I want is her back. The police hasn't told us anything except she is here and haven't found the kidnapper." I told her. Morgan huffed. "I know. It's crazy! It feels like they're not telling us something." She agreed. I thought about it for a minute. She's right. What are they hiding? My brain clicked. I logged into my Instagram and found her DMs. She was confused. "What are you doing?" She asked. I sighed. "I'm going to DM her in hopes she'll answer back once she knows it's me." I said. She rolled her eyes. "Are you kidding? A lot of people must be texting her right now. It's impossible!" She said. I growled. Ugh, at least have faith Morgan. "Morgan, she uploaded that video for us to see! To let us know she needs us more than ever and I now can't take keeping this from the gang. She's my sister, I love her and I'm not giving up on her!" I growled. She sighed sadly, hugging me. Tears formed in my eyes. I hugged back. I didn't mean to shout at her. We parted. Her DM page opened and surprisingly, nobody was texting her. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

M: Hi, Nina. It's me. Mia, your sister. My last name is Rain like yours and I'm not just any girl with that last name. We look so much alike and if you don't believe me, here's the pictures.

I sent two pictures of ourselves at six years old.

I sighed. She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. "Hate to break it to you but there's one in a million chances she will answer some—she was cut off with a ding. My jaw dropped. She answered?! She really answered? Her eyes widened. "Oh my god." She muttered. I smiled happily and cheered.

N(Nina): oh my god!!! Mia!😭

M: I missed you so much! I never forgotten about you! Neither has Randi!❤️❤️❤️

N(Nina): Awww!😭 I can't stop crying!

M: lol it's ok! I'm feeling the same.

N(Nina): How's our family?

M: great! Morgan is 12 years old and almost thirteen.😉

N(Nina): AWWW! I missed her lots.

M: where are you??? Are you ok?? I have so much to tell you! Literally!

N(Nina): same!

M: Mom and dad got the police on board and we know you're here! We're gonna find you.

N(Nina): Wait...police? What did they look like when you seen them first?😯

Morgan chuckled. "What do you think? Badges, guns and uniforms." She said. I playfully rolled my eyes.

M: not sure! But I'm sure it's badges, guns and uniforms.

N(Nina): Look, this is how the ones who claimed to be cops look like.

She sent a picture of a SWAT team person. Morgan studied the picture. "That's a SWAT team uniform. What is she talking about?" She said. I shrugged and kept typing.

M: why would the SWAT team pretend to be cops?

N(Nina): my kidnapper has men who wears those uniforms. They're corrupted and disguise themselves to blend in as real cops.

M: who are those people?? What do they want with you???

"Now that she said it...last week when Dad called the police, I took a nap upstairs and came downstairs. It was nighttime and I saw three guys wearing the uniforms on the doorstep. They were talking to him and had the same masks around their necks. My gut felt I shouldn't trust them completely." She explained. My eyes widened. Those cops were the bad guys?! "Are you sure?" I quickly asked. She nodded, firmly.

M: Morgan said she seen three of them talking to Dad at the door. They wore the same masks and she knew they might be trouble.

N(Nina): 😨 oh my god! You can't let them find your location!

M: why??? What are they up to??

N(Nina): like I said, I have so much to tell you and I will. Right now you need to leave the house and be somewhere safe. They're trying to capture you!😨

Oh no. The cops Dad called might be working for the kidnapper. I turned to Morgan. "Sis, where's Mom and dad?" I asked. She sighed. "Work. Why?" She said. I took a deep breath. "The cops Dad spoken to are the kidnapper's goons that are trying to kidnap us too. I don't know why but Nina says we need to leave the house." I quickly said. She screamed out of nowhere. I covered her mouth and shushed her. "It'll be ok." I assured.

M: where could I find you?

N(Nina): You can't find me! You'll be caught once you do! I don't have much time here because he'll check to see if I'm not calling help.

M: I'm NOT leaving you there. I will find you and we'll get out of this together.💯

N(Nina): I don't want them to hurt you.😢

M: and I'm not letting them hurt you! Let me save your life since I couldn't sixteen years ago. Send me your location. Now.

N(Nina): .............

Morgan groaned. "Cmon, Nina." She begged. I rubbed her shoulder. I waited a minute till she answered back.

N(Nina): Calabases, California ZIP Code; 60875. Sneak in and don't get caught. I love you guys.❤️❤️❤️

M: K! Love you too sissy.❤️

I closed my laptop and rolled out of bed. She did the same. "We're going to Calabasas, California." I told her. Morgan scoffed. "Ok? That's like three hours from here and we're dealing with actual criminals who could be coming to kill us and you want us to show up there unannounced?!" She complained. I smiled confidently. "I didn't say we're going empty handed." I said. She nodded in agreement. "True! We have no weapons. Luckily, I knew where we could get them." She said. I looked at her confusedly.
