3rd Person's POV

I'm on my way to see my daughter in her room, when her previous Doctor greet me. "Oh, auntie. Annyeong!" She smiled at me, wearing her white suit.

"Ashley-ssi, how's everything? Is your patient getting better?" I asked, coz she seemed a little bit happy today. "Everything's fine, auntie. Are you here to see Rosé?" We walked through the hallway.

"Yes, it's been days since I visited her. I wanna check on my Chae."

"Auntie, I have something to tell you. It's weird." She guide me to take my seat and decided to talk for a while just in front of Chae's room.

"I also have a patient just next to your daughter's room. He's suffering from a disease and his days are counted." She started telling me what she wants to talk about. "I thought your patient is getting better. But, how is he now?" I asked.

"He's there, sleeping for a long time. It's really weird because I heard him talking during his long sleep. He kept mentioning a name. But it's not clear." I'm just listening to what she is saying. "But what really shocked me was when he woke up. It's his first time waking up after his long sleep. And it's actually a miracle. He sleeps for too long and I'm worried about my patient. He's asking for someone, he mentioned the girl's name clearly. And I was able to hear him, it was Rosé." A name suddenly pop up in my mind. The one that Lisa mentioned to me before.

"At first, I didn't mind him because maybe he's hallucinating or they have the same name. Rosé is your daughter's real name right? My patient before in room 109?" That can't be...

"Yes, but why would he ask for that girl?" My heart starts to pound. I'm just not sure why. "I'm not sure tho, he said he's a lucid dreamer. There's something in me that wants to believe in him."

Lucid Dreamer?

"W-what does Lucid Dreamer do?" I stuttered. I'm getting the idea. "As far as I know, you can control your dreams even when you're asleep. I wish I had that kind of ability, but that's a rare one to happen." She just shrugged it off.

"Dr. Ash, you have a visitor!"

"Oh, auntie I have to go. Thank you so much for hearing my words. I hope for Chae's recovery. Annyeong!" She waved her hand at me and I bid my goodbye.

I'm sure it was Jungkook. The name that Lisa once mentioned to me last time. Lucid Dreamer? Does that the reason why my daughter loves to sleep? There's no way that Chaeyoung's a Lucid Dreamer too? But why? How? Are they connected to each other?

I entered her room.

"Eomma..." I saw my daughter looking so pale and sad. I wonder what's going on in her mind. I walked closer to her and gave her a really tight hug. "I missed you, Sweetie." I uttered. "Eomma... can you do me a favor?" Her voice cracked and her eyes are crying.

"What is it? Why are you crying? Is there something bothering you?"

"Mom, would you believe me if I tell you that---"

"You're a Lucid Dreamer?" I cut her off. I know that already, I got the idea from Ashley. Why didn't I noticed it from the start? I wasn't aware about lucid dreaming. She looked at me, shocked. "Who told you? Hyeri eonni did?"

"Ani. I found it myself, earlier this morning. So what's your favor?" I'm fighting the urge not to cry in front of her. I'm hurting, seeing her like this. "Eomma... I'm sorry if I didn't tell you before. I was just afraid that you'll not let me sleep more often if I tell you."

"You know, I met someone in my dream." She looked down while playing with her fingers. "Jungkook? If I'm not mistaken." I said. "I see, Lisa told you that. Yes, Jungkook."

"What happened?" I don't know what's the name of Ashley's patient, I forgot to ask. But, I'm kinda nervous if it turned out to be him next to her room. "I'm not sleeping for about 4 days, and I left him there alone. I asked Hyeri if I could sleep for 10 minutes, I just wanna see him. But when I got there, he's not there anymore..." She started sobbing. So he's the reason why Chae broke up with Tae.

Does she really love him that much, that's why she's breaking down in front of me?

"Do you love him so much?" I asked my daughter. She then finally look at me and nodded shyly. "It sounds cringe for me to say this to you mom, but could you find that guy for me? Before I di-" I closed my eyes, preventing my tears to roll down my face.

"You're not going to die. I'll do everything to find him for you, just don't die." I uttered and hold her hand. "Thank you Mom. I'm counting on you, I'll be strong for you all." She only smiled at me before lying down.

She looks so tired.

I went outside the room to look for Ashley. Then I saw Chae's doctor, Hyeri. "Hyeri-ah."

"Oh, Mrs. Park what's wrong? Do you need something?" She approach me. "Have you seen Dr. Ash?"

"Hmm, I know she's still in her designated room. Room 110, just next to Rosé's room." She answered. "Alright, thank you." She bowed to me and I went to the room next to my daughter's room.

Before I knock, I took a deep sigh. The door opened and I saw Ashley holding lots of equipment. "Oh auntie, why? Come in. I'll just finish this one." She let me come inside the room and I stopped when I saw a patient lying down the bed.

Just like Chae, he's so pale. His eyes are open but he's just looking at the ceiling. Lots of things are attached to his body and the heartbeat monitor is just near him. "Auntie, have a seat."

I watched how Ashley injected her patient. For me, it looks like it hurts so much. But for him, he didn't even flinch.

After that, Ashley and I went outside the room leaving him alone. "Why are you looking for me? Is there something wrong?" We take our seats and talk seriously.

"He looks like he's in a critical condition. What's his illness?" I asked out of curiosity. "He has a brain tumor, he's been in coma for about a year. It's his first time to wake up. But he keeps losing his consciousness. The machine is the only way for him to live a little longer."

"Brain tumor? It's much severe than Cancer right?"

"Yes, but if you're Cancer is in level 3. I might say that Tumor and Cancer are in the same level already." My heart stopped a bit when I heard that. So my daughter is... no no that will not happen.

"What's the name of your patient?" For my real intention, I asked about it. "His Jeon Jungkook."

This is insane...
