Lauren walked into science and sat in her usual seat by the window. She sat in the middle of the class room because the back was to extra and the in front she felt like she would have to answer questions. She set her binder down and pulled her notebook out and watched the door.
Most people would think she was waiting for the teacher to come in so the lesson could start but she was waiting for the headache she has started to enjoy. She enjoyed the his presence just not the stupid things that came out of his mouth.
As of on cue the headache walked into class with one minute before the bell rang, he walked in talking with someone who Lauren forgot the name of . He looked normal but something was off before Lauren's eyes widened. She stood up suddenly from her seat, and gained the attention of a few of her classmates as she walked over to the headache.
Beau broke eye contact with Luke as he saw Lauren walking up to him he raised an eyebrow as she now stood in-front of him. He was now realizing that Lauren was taller than she looked around 5'9 while he stood at 6'0.
"Uh hi? Do you need anything Lauren?"
"Your hair." She said bluntly.
"What about it?"
"You-" Lauren paused as she groaned, she forgot the word in English. "You gave it a thing where you go to the place and it's gets done.
"What?"
"The place where your hair gets done!" She said frustrated that he didn't understand that she meant 'you got a hair cut'.
Beau laughed lightly covering his hand over his mouth as he watched her get frustrated. He understood what she meant but he felt like being a jerk, so naturally he just helped her frustration grow.
"What do you mean? Lauren your making no sense at all!"
"You know what I mean!"
By now everyone is the class was watching the poor quiet girl struggle to remember haircut in English. Some laughed, as some thought it was cute.
"La Coupe de cheveux! La Cou-pe de chev-eux! Haircut!"
"Good job!" Beau said patting her shoulder.
"Asshole" Lauren mumbled before going back to her seat.
Beau smiled as he followed and sat in front of the scowling French girl.

Lunch came by quick enough and Lauren was in the bathroom frowning as she was debating to redo her Mascara or not.
Her Mascara was flawless and had zero clumps but she didn't feel like she did it correctly. Maybe she did to much? No, or is it to little? She asked herself as she sighed and put her Mascara into her pocket.
She started to walk out of the bathroom as she felt someone rush in and hit her shoulders. Lauren looked behind her and saw a girl run into one of the stalls, sighing Lauren went back and stood outside of the stall.
"Are you okay?" Lauren asked softly, her accent making it sound softer. Pressing her ear against the stall she heard nothing. She knocked on the unlocked stall before opening it.
The girl sat on the toilet silently sobbing. Her black hair covered her face but based off how the girl was built, Lauren knew she was couldn't be any older than fifteen.
Not knowing what to do Lauren took the girls hand. As the young girl looked iOS he was met with warm soft eyes. Lauren led her out of the small stall before pulling her into a hug.
"Shh it's okay, just cry it all out. Ça va aller bien."
(It's going to be okay)Lauren stroked the young girls hair as she felt her cry into her chest. She ran her fingers through her black hair and admired how soft it was. She felt her clam down and pulled her away from her chest.
"What's your name?"
"Zara."
"Well Zara, would you mind telling me what happened if your comfortable sharing?"
"Well I was sitting in my classroom minding my own business study for my history test today, suddenly these two guys walked in and they weren't from here." She said her gaze falling to her ground.
Lauren lifted the girls face up by her chin "did they touch you?"
"No, but it felt as if they were. I don't know I left but one of them grabbed my wrist" she said before starting to tear up again. "They said they'll hurt her!" Zara said.
"Hurt who?"
"My baby sister! She's only two! And I don't want her to die because of me!"
Lauren's eyes widened "what did they ask you to do?" She asked her voice wavering a little.
"Kill someone."
Lauren didn't know what to do, react or say. She just stood there frozen. She had no experience in this situation. Being bullied is one thing she could,d handle and help with. But stopping someone from being killed was something that never crossed her mind.
"Who would they want you to kill?"
———
Lauren left the bathroom quickly and left to where she knew he would be, the library. She opened the door and started to go to the back tables where he always was.
She found him sleeping and snoring lightly. She flicked his forehead, and he didn't respond. She slapped his cheeks, and got nothing but a grumble from him.
She had an idea and blew into his ear. Quickly waking up Beau scowled at Lauren who clearly just enjoyed that.
"What do you want?"
"Well you could have said hello first, but someone wants you dead."
Wow a somewhat long chapter for once!
