Lauren stood in the back of the Christmas dance alone. For two reasons, one of the, being she only knew three people but they had to be the welcoming committee. And she hated crowds.

       She hated crowds because she hated the idea of being close and almost touching other people. She didn't know where others have been. She didn't know what they touched and that disgusted her.

          She was going to talk to the only three people she somewhat liked, but they were stuck as the welcoming committee until eight and it was only seven forty-five. So instead of waiting patiently she decided to judge other people's outfits because she was bored.

First was Kate, Ashley's not yet confirmed girlfriend. She wore a peach dress that complimented her red hair nicely but she wore pearls. And to Lauren, pearls where ugly so she got a eight out of ten.

Next was Ava. Her normally straight brown hair was slightly curled and she wore a lavender dress. And she wore light make up to make her give off an angelic vibe. Lauren was impressed and loved her look. Solid ten out of ten for Ava.

        Lauren kept judging outfits, mostly everyone getting a seven or above. Lauren was cruel but not cruel enough to give someone a six or below.

        Lauren felt someone tapping her shoulder and she found an extremely bored Kasen standing behind her. "Oh, it's eight already?"

  "Yeah, if you want I can show you where the others are."

   "Okay, great."

        Lauren followed Kasen as the made there way through the crowd. Lauren did her best to not touch other people. She was somewhat successful as they reached the corner of the room.

        "Hey Lauren! You dress looks beautiful you made it right?" Ashley asked excitedly.

         "Uh yeah I guess?" She said but it sounded more like a question.

        "Hmm.." Ashley paused for moment thinking if what to say. Suddenly her eyes sparkled "we should all totally leave!"

        Kasen looked up from his phone "why?"

        "I agree with Kasen, why should we leave? You know that we could get in trouble." Beau said with a somewhat worried face.

        "Yes that's true." Lauren mumbled gaining everyone's attention, "but only if we get caught you guys would get in trouble."

        "Lauren your amazing!" Ashley yelled pulling her into a hug.

        "Let's not" Lauren said attempting to get of Ashley's hug.

        "How would we sneak out? If we all go as a group it would be suspicious." Beau piped in.

        "That's why we don't all go at once, idiot. First Kasen leaves because it's Kasen and he hates people so no one will suspect a thing. Then I'll leave because I get worried that I left the stove on at home-"

        "Ashley your aware that we have people who cook for us right?" Beau said cutting off his sister.

        "Oh yeah I forgot! Okay I'll say I need a tampon but I don't have any and that I have some in my car! Then Lauren pretends to get sick, Beau being the gentleman he is decides to being her home. When in reality we all meet up at my car!" Ashley exclaimed.

        "This is extremely stupid" Kasen sighed as he started to walk towards the exit.

        "He's extremely stupid" Ashley's scoffed.
