The two laid in the grass the rest of the day. They left their phones in the car, as they laughed and smiled and made awkward eye contact, that made both rosy and look the other way. 

Lauren gazed into the sun, she put her hand over her eyes as she felt the suns rays heat on her skin. 

"I can feel you staring," she said not moving.

"Im not even embarrassed about it. After all, anyone would stare at something so beautiful."

Lauren laughed, "that was the weirdest shit I've ever heard you say, I like it."'

"So I should keep saying stuff like that?"

Lauren sat up, "absolutely not."

"Geez, hurting my feelings, you're gonna make me cry."

"My zodiac sign is a cancer, I know lots about crying."

Beau sighed, "aren't zodiac signs all just random stuff people come up with?"

She shrugged, "I like the idea of it, but some things are weird. But with that in mind, a lot of horoscope readings can be weirdly true." 

"That sounded oddly, how do I say this?"

"Smart?"

"Stupid."

Lauren picked some grass from the forest floor and threw it at him. Beau looked at his shirt and threw grass in her hair.

"Beau, if your gonna throw grass at me, don't do it in my hair! Ugh this is gonna take forever to get out." She said as she used her fingers to brush the grass out.

Beau looked at her hair then smiled and got up, "I'll be right back! Don't move a muscle!"

Lauren watched him leave as she muttered to her self, "leave? Where would I go Fucking idiot." she said as she finished getting the grass out her hair.

Beau returned quickly with flowers, "do you have a hair tie?"

"Of course I do."

He smiled, showing off his smile she started to love. "Okay turn around! Ashley showed me how to do something and I wanna try!"

Lauren turned around and felt beau brushing her hair out with his fingers, a occasional 'ouch' was heard from her when he pulled her hair to hard. 

"Beau, what are you even doing? At this rate I'll be bald before I graduate highschool!"

"Shhhh, I know what I'm doing."

"Yeah sure you are."

"I am!"

"Whatever you say," Lauren mumbled in French.

"I don't know what you said but that was mean!"

"Good you're knowing French, it'll be a good use when I take you during the summer."

He paused, "we're going to France?"

"Yeah? Were you not paying attention to the annulments a few days ago? Senior trip."

"Uhhh, I don't pay attention."

"I can tell, are you done?"

He smiled, "Yup!"

She put her hand to her hair and felt around, it was a braid, a French braid. "I didn't know you cn braid, what are the flowers for?"

"A finishing touch!"

He added some of the flowers to her hair and smiled, "all done!"

"I like it."
