Ingoreing the screams from the down stairs living room she made her way to her bathroom, the screams and shouting only got worse. But she was used to it, its been like that for the last six years. The only reason they stayed together is for the money or maybe because they where the "golden couple" who knows.  She didn't.

She hummed a soft tune while brushing her short brown hair. Her mother used to sing her the same tune before everything went wrong, while  everyone was happy.

The sound of glass breaking brought her out of her fantasy land of perfection. She sighed and placed her brush down before heading back to her room to continue her designs. She move the pencil on the sketchbook. Drawing skirts, dresses, everything to distract her from everything.

She got up and went down stairs. They always stoped when she was around and she needed water. Her hand on the railing as she went down.

"Hey." She said softly gaining her parents attention. They didn't talk but glared at each other the whole time.

"Lauren your mom and I have decided to make a decision." Her father said looking into her eyes.

"And it is?" She asked, she knew what is would be though. Even a blind person could see what will happen.

"We're getting a divorce." Her mother finished for her father.

"Oh okay" she said. Even though she knew it would happen her shoulders still dropped and her eyes started to water.

"Don't cry child. Don't waste your tears, you would be wasting time. Go pack your bags, you will be leaving soon." Her father said without hesitation, his French accent becoming thicker.

She nodded, she was scared to argue. Last time she denied her parents it didn't end up well for her.

"You are unbelievable! This is all your fault! You're casting your own daughter away, and for what? Some stupid side chick!" She heard her mother yell.

She ignored the rest, she didn't want to know. All she wanted was to get out of the hellhole she called 'home'. She grabbed her two suitcase's from her closet and started to pack everything important enough. She grabbed everything she knew she would need. Mostly clothes, shoes, and some extras such as hats, belts, and bracelets. Everything else she knew she could buy again.

Sitting on her bed she looked at her phone, no knew messages. She wasn't shocked, everyone was just as fake as she was.

"I hope your bags are packed. You have a flight to strait to North Daktoa to live with your grandparents for the rest of the year. I am unfortunately being forced to drop you off" Her father said quickly before leaving t pack his own bags to go off to who knows where.

"Of course they're sending me off to my grandparents. After all they don't even want me, no one wants the girl from a broken family." She said the truth under her breath. She dragged her bags down the stairs into her fathers car.

The car ride was silent the whole time. Not a word was exchanged and she was happy about that. It made everything a lot easier.

Soon enough her dad parked to the side of the airport. He got out and grabbed her luggage for her, she followed and let her father do the work. He handed her the ticket and went back to the car and speed off.

She shrugged and entered Aéroport de Paris. It was not as busy as she expected it, she looked around for the luggage check.

She sighed and sat on one of the airport chairs, she went through security and everything went well. So she was stuck thinking about what will happen in the future.
