"Okay but what about this song?"

         "It's trash."

"You hate on me so much! This is unjust."

"There's no justice system in my room." Lauren said as Beau was going through his playlist on his phone.

Currently the pair were in Laurens room listening to Beaus 'shitty playlist' as Lauren called it. Beau on the other hand thought it was the best thing to ever exist. He had never felt more betrayed by his own soulmate.

"You just don't have taste. You will never know what actual good music is, such a shame." Beau said with a sigh.

"Listening the Rhianna, Megan thee stalion, and Kanye West on repeat isn't good music moron." Lauren said pulling up her Spotify playlist, "but this though. Can't get any better."

       "Imagine not having Spotify Premium."

"Don't be a dick rich boy."

"Why have you been so mean today?"

"I haven't been mean, you've been just more extra than usual."

"At least I'm adding some flavor into your life! You could have been alone and flavorless without me! You should be bowing down to me, I do not need this attitude this early in the day."

"For starters, I am so happy you added into my life" Lauren said sarcastically. "And the sun just went down, so be quiet."

Beau frowned because as usual, she was correct. Lauren smiled in the silence as Beau finally shut up. But of course that didn't last long.

       "I'm hungry."

"Go make food then. I think there's some pasta in the pantry next to the bagels."

"Okay!" He ran out of her room to the pantry down stairs.

At that moment Lauren got a notification from google class room, and groaned when she saw she got a D on her math test. Her math grade dropping from a B to C. She felt like she wanted to cry in frustration. She hated trigonometry.

She sighed before pulling her self together and going down stairs to the kitchen to find Beau on his phone while he was waiting for the water to boil.

"Hey what dd you get on the trigonometry test? I got a C, my parents are going to kill me later." He said shuddering.

       "I got a D" she said sadly.

"Oh don't be sad! One grade dosent determine your future!" He said trying to lift her up.

"Yes it does. We have until March then we have to start applying to collages. And the ones I want to go too, its does matter."

"Oh yeah, technically I don't have to go to collage but I want a degree in math and business." Beau said while putting the bowtie pasta into the boiling water. "Can you get some of the pesto sauce mix out?" He asked.

"Yeah, sure." She said going to the pantry to get the mix out and the dumping it into a pan and making the sauce.

       "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm just over thinking this that's all" she responded with a small smile.

"Okay, let's eat some pasta. You'll feel better, I promise!" Beau said raising his pinky.

She took his pinky into hers, "it better be good then."
