New Dawn In the Woods

Chapter 23

I slowly wake up from the darkness that surrounds me. I hear beeping from the monitors I'm hooked to. I open my eyes and a white room. My body aches from my heat which I still have, until I mate with Seb. I see the door open and see Layton walk in.

"What happened?" I asked

"Well, your heat attracted rogues to your secret place and they started attacking you. You hit your head and Sebastian and I got there in time before they did anything to you." he said

"Ro, you have to be more careful. You have a pack and a family to run. You have to stop being careless." He said holding my hand

"Ro, I think it's time for you to mate with Sebastian. You can't keep doing this. You owe it to your pack to have a male by your side." He is right. I owe it to my pack.

"Okay, get me out of here and I will." I said

"Okay, I'll go sign the papers now." he left. I got up and walked over to the clothes laid out for me and changed. I have a pink sports bra and leggings. Sebastian is here to take me to the pack house. We leave and the ride there is quiet. I get to the pack and announce training begins now. I pair the members and watch them spar with each other.

"Good job everyone, before you go I have news to tell you tonight. Dinner at the pack house at 8pm sharp and dress nice and spread the word." I said and waved everyone away. Sebastian comes up to me.

"What news?" he said

"You will see." I smirked and walked away. I got ready for the dinner tonight. Once I picked out a dress, I went to the kitchen and started making dinner. Once that was done, I went back upstairs and changed into a smooth, black cocktail dress and black heels. I went to Seb's room and laid out a black suit and a note. I quickly left and headed back to my room. I did a smokey-eye look. I left my hair down. I walked downstairs and set the food out on the huge table. I see everyone is here.

"Welcome everyone, thank you for coming tonight. As I said this morning, I have an announcement to make." Sebastian comes down the stairs. He has something in his pocket but I ignore it.

"Wait Rosie, I have something to say first." he said. He looked so handsome with his black spiked hair and black suit.

"What are you.." he got down in front of me on one knee.

"Ro, I know you didn't want me when we first met and you are slowly accepting me and it makes me happy. I wanted to say I'm glad I get to be your mate. You are so important to me even though it's taking you a while to get used to it but you made my life full of excitement and adventure. My life will never be the same nor dull. Will you marry me?" he said

"Yes. yes." I said with excitement. He puts the beautiful diamond on my finger.

"Well I guess that is my announcement." I said. The whole pack cheered for us and we ate the food with laughter filling the room.

The next day, I wake up and put on training gear and make my way to the gym before everyone else does to start training. My heat went away finally. I hang up a punching bag and start throwing punches at it. I use my normal strength but with my normal strength I managed to break it. I groaned and changed it. I have a stack of broken punching bags in a pile in a corner. I hung up a new one laying punches at the new bag. I was using a lot of force in the bag. I was in my thoughts when I broke yet another bag. I didn't hear anyone come in until I heard applause from the pack members.

"Oh I didn't know you were here." I said

"That was impressive, Alpha. I didn't know you had that much strength." a member said

"Thanks, well pair off in your groups and practice punching on the bags. Your partner will hold the bag. Begin." I said I started around the trainees and guided them and gave them tips to improve their posture and stance. When training was over, I walked to Seb's room. He was in there but I heard muffled voices. His and another she-wolf. I debated if I wanted to knock or not. I started walking away from his door back to my room. I shut my door and fell against it. I started crying. I didn't know what to think.

"Hey Roise what you hear it's not..." he mindlinked me but I blocked him. I didn't want to hear it. I pulled myself off my feet and dragged my butt to my bathroom. I strip down and get into my shower. I didn't hear my bathroom door open but I smell him. I didn't turn to face him. I couldn't.

He got in the shower with because I felt him behind me. He turns me around to face him. He presses his lips against mine.

"What happened back there, that she-wolf was half-naked in my room. I didn't let her do anything. I love you and only you." he said. I nodded.

"Take me" I whispered and he did for hours.

The next fews days were great. Our relationship was growing stronger as well as our mate bond. We have grown closer. We are sleeping together in the same bed. We planned a day for the wedding. We were arranging everything for the wedding. Spencer and Derek have gotten very close. She is covered in his scent and she wears his mark. I'll be surprised if she is not pregnant yet. She is so cute. Derek will be taking her to his pack today.

"I'm going to miss you sis." I said with tears in my eyes

"Me too."

"Promise you will call everyday and visit every other weekend." I said packing her things in his truck.

"Of course Rosie. I will see you at the wedding." she said

"Well duh because you are my maid-of-honor. You have to be there. Derek will treat right and if he doesn't I'll beat him up." I chuckled.

"Yeah. I'm going to miss you so much." she nodded and laughed

"I'm going to miss you more." I had tears falling down my cheeks. I didn't want to let go but I had to. They got in the truck and drove away. I watched them drive away and disappear into the horizon. I stood for hours. My heart broke a little bit. My little sister isn't so little anymore. She's a woman and her mate will treat her right. If he doesn't welp we are going to have some issues. I laughed to myself. I wasn't hungry so I just went up to my room and changed into my pjs and crawled into bed. Seb suggested that I should eat something but I didn't answer. I just closed my eyes and fell asleep welcoming the darkness as a friend.

*Hey guys, sorry for the late update. Everything is so crazy right now. I'm applying for college and I'm moving to a different house so I've going through my things and packing up stuff/getting rid of stuff. Please enjoy this chapter. This book is almost over.
