Chapter 9

I woke up to the sound of my door opening. I sit up in my bed and see Sebastian standing there. He shuts the door and walks to me. I give him a confused look. He pushed me on my back. He crawls on top of me and smashes his lips onto mine. He starts to tug at my shirt, then he starts to take it off. He looks me up and down, then continues to kiss. 

I quickly sat up in bed. Oh thank god it was just a dream. I look over at my phone. It’s midnight. I got up and headed to the kitchen for a glass of wine. I turned on the light and then I saw him sitting at the bar in the kitchen. 

“What are you doing? Can’t sleep?” I said grabbing a wine glass and the red wine. 

“Yeah, it’s a new place. I’m not used to it.” 

“Oh okay. Well I did have that part of the house built. Is your room okay?” pouring me a glass of wine. Hey, when I can’t sleep, wine helps.

“Yeah, it’s fine. What are you doing with the wine?”

“I’m having a glass. Want one?” 

“Sure. Why are you up?” he questioned me as I handed him a glass.

“Just had a bad dream I guess. I really don’t want to get into it and because I don’t trust you.” 

“I’m your mate.”

“I don’t care. Let me remind you of one thing Mr. Timber, this is my pack. If you join this pack, you will be an outlaw with the council.”

“Well I’m here now and I will take over as Alpha.” 

“No you won’t. I will not step down. I’ve worked too hard to get this pack where it is now. I had to fight the most dangerous man in the world. I will not let you destroy that. Have you ever heard of Alpha King?”

“Yes, he was a ruthless Alpha.”

“Well, I killed him. How else would I be Alpha. You nothing about me Timber and you never will. Just be lucky I won’t reject you. I don’t need a man.” I finished my glass of wine.
I left him in shock. 

“You know what? We will have a battle. You pick three of your best fighters and I will do the same. You win I will let you take over and If I win we will do joint Alpha, and your pack will start training with me first in the morning at five o’clock sharp. Up to the challenge?” I said smirking because I know I’m going to win. 

“Sure,” he leaned forward closer to my ear and said, “but you're gonna lose Rosie.” as if he said my name in a seductive way that would make any girl fall for me but not me. I waited for him to show up eight months ago but didn’t. I don’t need a man because I’m very strong. I head back into my room to get ready for my daily run. 

I changed in my gear and grabbed an energy drink. I head out and start jogging around the territory. It was peaceful for me to do this, especially since I became Alpha. Rogues and hunters feared my name and I loved it.

“Alpha? We have a problem.” 
“What is it?” 
“Hunters were spotted at the western border.”
“Alright on my way.”
“We caught them.”
I shifted and headed to them. I arrived and smelled they were for sure humans.

“What are you doing here?” I growled. I saw them shake as my voice. They know who I am. 

“W… W… we are so sorry.” the girl struggled to speak. The boy must have been her boyfriend. 

“Well sorry it is not going to set you free now it is? Take them to the dungeon. I’ll deal with you personally.” I storm off to the house.

I see Sebastian standing at the door. I growled telling him to move but he didn’t. He walked to me and knelt down in front of me. He was looking at my wolf.
