The next few days went by quickly, with planning mom’s funeral, working at the diner, training, and with graduation just around the corner, I was all over the place. Thanks to Celina, I didn’t have to worry about the twins. She was watching them for me. My mom’s funeral is the day after tomorrow, which is a Saturday. The day passed by in a flash. Today is Friday, which means one more day until the funeral. It is five o’clock in the morning. It’s time for me to go for a run. I make a protein shake and head outside to shift into my wolf. My wolf’s name is Annora but Nora for short. After I shifted, I could feel the breeze on my fur. My wolf is black and white mix. My paws are black, the tip of my tail is also black, I also have patches of black on my body, and then on my nose. I also have black ears. I have a black diamond shape. My eyes are an amethyst purple. It is rare for wolves to have purple eyes, both parents have to have the gene. My mom’s eyes were golden brown and dad’s eyes were black. They were both carriers for the gene. I’m not sure where the purple eyes come from, but one thing I do know is that I’m very strong and fast.

I took off digging my paws into the ground and dashing into the woods. I head off to my secret spot I found when I first shifted. I come to the entrance of a cave and head inside. I come to a luminous clear blue lake. I take a drink and admire the beauty. I head back to the house to start designing a dress for the funeral tomorrow. I trot up to a tree and take clothes out and put them on and head inside my house that I have paid for since my parents died. When I get home, I see Celina passed out on the couch with a bowl of chips on her small baby bump. I think she is more than three weeks pregnant. I turn off the tv and cover her up with a blanket. I went upstairs to check on the twins. They are also in bed sleeping. I kissed the top of their heads and whispered goodnight and headed off to my room. I took a nice hot bath with lavender. I started to sketch out a dress for the funeral. I was up all night making a black short, lacy dress. I had the twins' outfits picked out. I woke up the smell of pancakes and bacon filling my nostrils. I sat up and noticed I wasn’t in my bed, I must have fallen asleep at my desk making the veil for the funeral today. I sleepily walk downstairs to see Celina making breakfast. Liam and Spencer sitting at the bar eating breakfast.
“Good morning Roise,” said a very cheerful Celina.

“Good morning Celina, Liam and Spencer,” I said before yawning. Liam and Spencer said hello. They finished eating and went out to play.

“Hey wait, don't get dirty the funeral is in three hours,” I said. They stopped in their tracks and nodded in response.

“I saw the dress you made last night Roise it looks very beautiful. Your mom would have loved it,” she frowned.

“Thanks Celina. I see you made breakfast without burning it this time,” teasley knowing the last time she made something she caught the stove and countertop on fire.

“You are not going to let that down are you?,” she said turning back to the stove.

“Nope. but hey this is very good Celina,” I gave her a pat on the back and went to stuffing my face with bacon.

She sat across from me and started eating. I didn’t realize the time passed so I went outside and called out for Liam and Spencer. They walk to me with their heads. I knew they got dirty playing in the mudd. Oh well I can’t really be mad at them. I walked them inside and got them in the shower to clean up and change into their outfits. I got out of the shower, put on the dress and did my make-up. Obviously I used water proof makeup because I know I’m going to cry. I walk downstairs and see that everyone is waiting for me to go to the graveyard. I grab a couple of umbrellas and head to my car. Celina is in the front with me and the twins in the back. She reaches over placing her hand on my shoulder for support and we head off the funeral. When we get there I hear thunder in the distance and grab the umbrellas. The whole pack was there. There were the doctors and nurses from the hospital who worked with my mom. Her friends were there, and everyone else including the Alpha. I saw the bruises on Luna's face even though she tried to cover them up with make-up. I hated the Alpha. The thunder was getting closer, as the preacher kept on talking. I couldn’t hear him though. I was engulfed by my tears. I was snapped out of my thoughts when it started to rain. Layton provided an umbrella to Celina and I gave one to the twins to share. I opened mime up. It started to pour. The twins and I put roses on the coffin, silently crying. Then we took turns throwing a little bit of dirt onto the coffin after it was lowered into the ground. I went first, then the twins, and Celina. We left when they started dumping more dirt into the hole. Celina drove us back to the house. I helped her set up the food and everything and everyone showed up. They kept telling me they are sorry for my loss. My mom was a well respected doctor for the pack. Everyone loved her. It was eight o’clock at night by the time everyone left. Celina put the twins to bed, wished me goodnight and headed out to Peter’s truck and drove off into the night. She moved in with him when she found out she was pregnant. I changed into pjs and cried myself to sleep.
