New Dawn In the Woods

Chapter 19

I was standing in the middle of the store and heard screams coming from my siblings. I turn around and see them being put in the back of the van then it vanishes into thin air. My body is numb and I can’t breath. I slowly wake up to a white room and a heart monitor. I shoot up thinking about the twins. I feel someone holding me down as I fight against them because my brother and sister were just kidnapped in front of me. I look over and see Layton holding me.

“Shhhh…” he said slwoly petting my head to calm me down. I relax and start crying. 

“It’s okay, you are okay. ” he said. I stop crying.

“What happened? Is Sebastian okay?” I asked with a shaky voice.

“Yes he is. We were attacked yesterday at the mall. They took Liam and Spencer. They put up a pretty good fight. So did you and Sebastian.” he said checking my vitals.  

“You have a small bump on your head but you are okay. You are lucky I caught you before you fell to the ground.” he said, clicking his pen.

“Okay, have you guys started looking for them?” 

“Yes, the police department has pictures of the plate that took them. They are wolves but their scent is was weak from what pack they came from.” he sighed then continued 

“Sebastian recovered and started looking for them. He checked with your allies first and they are helping us.” he walked over to the chair and brought over clothes for me. 

“I’m sorry Ro, we will find them if it’s the last thing I do.” he kissed the top of my head and left. I finished putting on a black tank top and ripped jeans. I’m glad the town knows about us because they are helping us find the van. A fw humans actually wanted to become a werewolf so we turned them and the pack grew. They didn’t care and honestly it’s good. The pack land expanded to the town so we have a huge area of land and built more houses along the road leading to the pack house because we gained more wolves. Every wolf is supposed to start training when they turn twelve. I’m so glad I put my sibling in training because it worked until they were injected with wolfsbane and hauled off. I tell Layton I’m going to run home. He must have known that and packed me a small bed. I threw it on my back and ran to the tree lines. I shifted and took off to the house. I don’t know why but running makes me feel free. I dash through the trees and reach the house. I shift behind a tree and change. I walk into the house and straight into Spencer’s room. I take in her smell. 

“I promise I will find you guys and never let you go from my side ever again.” I whispered and fell to the ground crying. I feel strong arms wrap around my body and pull me into their chest. I knew it Sebastian. I could feel his guilt from not protecting them. 

“I’m so sorry I didn’t protect them or you enough.” he whispered. I could tell he was crying based on his body movements.

“It’s okay, we both tried our best.” I said

“We will find them.” What he said to me made my mind click. I get up off the floor and head to my office. I start finding the people responsible for taking my siblings and if they cause them pain I’ll make sure I’ll pay it back ten times worse. Whoever you are, I will make you pay for everything you cause them. You pissed off one Alpha who you shouldn’t have messed with, and now I’m mad.

Over the few days, I’ve been trying to find my family. I have a very strong lead on them but I’m going to need a lot of fighters to take them down. That’s why I made a meeting with the Alphas I have allied with. I’m on my way to the conference room. I push open the big wooden door and enter. 

“Gentlemen, thank you for coming short notice.” I said, taking a seat.

“We are so sorry to hear about your siblings, we will do anything we can to find them.” Alpha Lake said

“Yeah, why are we here anyways?” Alpha Jones said

“Well, since my siblings are missing, I figured out who took to get back at me.” Sebastian looked at me in shock.

“You found out who attacked us that day?” he said

“Yes, it wasn’t easy but I did it. Remember those rogues who attacked me a few months ago?” I turned to him

“Yes…” he said

“Well it was them and I know where they are at.” I pulled out a map that was marked. I pointed to the location where the rogues had taken the twins’.

“But defeating them won’t be because I have a rogue inside. It’s heavily guarded.” I said

“They are the most vulnerable at night. So that’s when we will strike.” I said
They all nodded in agreement. We ended the meeting and went downstairs to mingle. I made dinner for us and enjoyed the night. I wonder outside and feel the cool winter wind hit me. It has been two weeks since the kidnapping and it’s almost Christmas.
“I promise, I will bring you back home and we can celebrate Christmas together. You, me, Celina, Layton, Rin, Miysuki, and even Sebastian too. All of us are just one big family. I’m so sorry….. I didn’t fight hard enough to protect you.” I said falling to my knees in the snow just crying. 

“I’m so sorry. I miss you guys. I will find you guys even if it kills me.” I was still on the ground. The tears started to freeze on my cheeks. I prayed to the goddess for strength and got up. I walked back into the house and yelled for a meeting. 

“What?” they asked if they could see the tears on my cheeks. 

“We attack tomorrow night.” I said

“Alphas prepare your best warriors and healers and we will meet at Alpha Jones’ place. It was the closest to the hideout in five hours.” I turned to them

“Got it.” they left

“Ro you are not going.” CeCe said

“I have to go. I have to save them.” I fought back the tears.

“I'll be my best warrior here to protect you and the kids.” I said

“No it’s fine Ro, I’ll protect her.” Layton said 

“Okay fine, Rin I’m going to need you as a fighter and healer.” I said

“Yes, I’ll go get ready now. Miysuki, you're coming with us. You are a really fighter which will be useful. Go train up and rest for a bit. You will need it.” I said

“I’ll go too. It’s my fault they were even kidnapped.” Sebastian said 

“No, I need you here to run the pack while I’m gone. If something happens to me promise me you will protect my family.” I said

“No, I can’t need to be there with you. Please don’t shut me out.” he grabbed my hands in his. 

“Okay..” 

“I can run the pack with Celina.” Layton said, cutting me off.

“Okay thank you guys so much. You guys be safe. I’ll bring them home as soon as I can. Do you need Rider here or not?”

“He is coming with us. Okay.” 

Two hours have passed and I’m preparing for a battle I might not walk away from. I take in a deep breath and let it out. I grab my bag and some camping gear. I set the stuff on the floor and say my final goodbyes. Me, Sebby, Miysuki, and rin piled into my car. The rest of the warriors are following us to the place. We are greeted by the two Alphas. Alpha Jones shows us our bedroom. Of course I have to share with Sebastian but this may be the last night I get to if things don’t turn out according to plan. We crawl in bed to some sleep before the big battle. I finally allowed him to mark me as I did the same to him. I felt stronger when he did that. We close our eyes for a bit because in just a few hours will be the biggest bloodbath ever.
