New Dawn In the Woods

Chapter 5

I awoke from my slumber by the smell of bacon and pancakes. I stand to stretch and wince at the pain from my back. I look in the mirror and see the bruises are really dark. It hurts so bad so I take a couple of painkillers to ease the pain. It should be healed in a couple of days. I walk downstairs and that Celina has returned from her trip. She is looking more and more pregnant. I couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that she is having twins. I bet her wolf Kara is going crazy. 

“Good Morning CeCe. How was your trip?” I said. CeCe is a nickname I gave her since we were kids. It just kinda stuck. She calls me Ro which is fair. 

“Good Morning Ro. It was fun. I had fun spending time with Layton.” 

“That’s good. He is busy all the time but I’m glad he made time for you CeCe.” Rin came downstairs. 

“CeCe, I want you to meet an old family friend. Her parents recently passed away so she will be living here with me and the twins.” I said nodding to Rin that Celina is nice and won’t hurt her.

“Nice to meet you Rin. I’m sorry to hear about your parents. Ro just lost her mom a couple of months ago.” she said hugging her.

“It’s nice to meet you too. Celina.” Rin said hugging back. 

“It’s CeCe. You can call me CeCe.” 

“Ok.” 

“Anyways, lets eat. I made a lot of breakfast for all of us, dig in.” 
We ate in silence. Liam and Spencer headed to school. I cleaned up the dishes. 

“CeCe will you go shopping with Rin and I? I have to enroll her into high school. She is super intelligent so she will be joining me at school for the second semester.” 

“Of course I will go shopping with you guys. Wow that’s impressive for a sixteen year old.” 

“Yeah. You girls ready for a fun day of shopping?” I said with excitement. They both nod and follow me to the car. 

We drove into town towards the mail. A fun day of shopping here we come. After three hours of shopping, we finally got Rin clothes. We stop off by a little store with really cool wood furniture. We walk in and look around. We were greeted by the owner of the shop. I could tell that she was a wolf. She is five foot and eleven inches tall. She towers over me like a skyscraper which isn’t hard to do because I’m only five foot. Haha I might be small but I’m really strong. That’s why it’s so easy for me to take down my opponents. Truth is I know about Rin and her pack. I know who killed her family and the pack. It was Alpha King who is my Alpha. He is a terrible person. He is a creepy old guy. He domestically abused his twenty five year old wife. Yes he has a weird and gross obsession with young girls.

“Hi can I help you?” she asked.

“No we are just looking.” 
She nodded and headed back to the desk. She has beautiful long, straight brownish- blonde hair. She has brown eyes and is wearing a flannel shirt, boot cut pants, and a pair of cowgirl boots. I walked up to the front desk and read her name plate.

“Hi… Miysuki (Mit-sue-ki), I was wondering how much that bench is? And the desk? They are birthday gifts for my brother and sister.”

“Of course, the bench is four hundred and fifty dollars and the desk is five hundred dollars.” 
“Ok great thanks. Here is my debit card card and my mail address.”

“Ok. I'll have the items there in two to three days.” 
We get back into the car and head home because the twins should be home soon.

“Haha, that was actually pretty.” Rin said.

“Why did you buy the desk and bench?” 

“Birthday gifts for Liam and Spencer.”

“Oh cool.” Rin said

“Oh yeah their birthday is coming up isn't it?” CeCe said.

“Yes and it's their first shift.” I said acting nervous just even thinking about it.

“Shoot. Layton and I need to get them something then. Who gets the desk? Who gets the bench?”

“Well since Liam already has a desk it will go to Spencer and the bench will go to Liam because Spencer has seating in her room. I’m going to make the bench a seat cover pad to sit on.” 

“Wow so cool.” 

“Yeah it is. It just had been hard since mom died. I’m completely paying for the bills and I’m trying to make them happy. I ended up picking up extra shifts at the diner.” 

“I think it is sweet for what you are doing for them Ro.” Rin hugged me. 
Celina made dinner and we ate talking and laughing about stories. I had to talk to Rin so Spencer  and Liam went to their rooms to go to bed. I headed to Rin’s room. 
I knocked on the door three times and then I heard her say come in.

“Hey are you busy?” 

“Nope, just hanging up my new clothes you bought me. Thank you.”

“Welcome. Hey I meant to tell you something.”

“Ok.” I gestured for her to come sit on the bed next to me.

“Look, I know who you are. My parents knew yours. I know who killed your parents and pack.”  she looked at me with shock.

“Who?” she asked, holding her breath. 

“My Alpha. Alpha King ordered the attack.. My dad tried to stop the attack but he was killed. I lied to my brother and sister. It wasn’t a rogue attack. Alpha King ordered it and my dad refused, he was killed for treason against the Alpha.”

“Wow. So what are we going to do then? We have to stop him.” she said getting up and walking around her room. 

“We have to wait to execute the plan until after the twins birthday. I noticed when I’m on the yard training with everyone else he gives that weird looks at me. I hate it.”

“Is that why you are not living on the territory? It sounds like he's taking an interest in you. He wants you Ro. You have to be careful around him.” 

“What? You think he wants me? I mean yeah he's creepy but I hate him because he abused his wife because she gave him a girl instead of a boy. But they also say that she had twins too. Rumors got around saying he killed his daughter.” 

“Well you are the most beautiful girl in the pack and you are unmated so you will be his target because every other girl is throwing themselves at him but you're not. Therefore he wants you because you're easy. I’ve been watching you guys for awhile so I know everything.” 

“Oh no. if this is true then he is going to force mark me or possibly rape me. We have to stop him before that ever happens. What do you get?”

“Well, first off you need to challenge him because he likes tough girls. While you keep him distracted, I'll sneak into the house, grab the kid and threaten him with the child but I won’t actually hurt them.”

“What if he doesn’t surrender then you attack him and almost kill him and claim the title.” 

“I will leave you to kill him because I know you have some anger built up from him killing your family, but there was talk about his wife leaving him.” I said getting a little scared but I don’t know what this feeling is. 

“If that happens then the plan will have to be put in action early then because if she does, he will come straight for you.”
Oh boy how is this going to play out. 

“What if beta comes after me?” I asked worried.

“I’ll handle his beta. I have the perfect plan to kill him.” she said with a devilish grin on her face. This girl had to become a murderer because she lost her family to my Alpha who doesn’t even deserve to live. We said our goodnights and byes. I headed off to my room to start thinking about the plan we came up with to take Alpha King down once and for all. No one never dares challenge him but I have to. If he doesn’t get to me first. I shook that feeling away and changed into my jammies and went to sleep not prepared for what is going to happen to tomorrow.
