"And where do you think you're sneaking off to?", Gabriella stood there grumpily, her mood already sour.

She had positioned her hands on her waist, glaring at her daughter. She hanged her head low, avoiding eye contact. She had been caught again by her mother. If her father was here, he'd let her go, but not her mother.

"Look at me when I'm talking to you Romania", she glared at the girl who she knew didn't like been scolded.

"How many times do I have to tell you-

"Yeah I know, to look at someone when being talked to, it's a sign of respect", she cut her mother off.

"Okay b-

"And not to leave the mansion without your permission, especially in the evening, when curfew is also due", she added quickly.

"So what then are you trying to achieve by sneaking off, again?", She questioned.

Gabriella wasn't really the type to be hard on her daughter. But she needed to be. Grey had spoiled Romania too much that she always did whatever she wanted.

And she knew if Grey was around, he'd let her go, then secretly send a lot of guards with her to keep her safe. But this wasn't solving anything.

They both were adults and knew the kind of danger that awaited them outside the comforts of their homes at night.

"I just want to hangout with my friends", she replied, throwing her hands up in the air.

"At this time?, You know how important it is to follow the curfew, and if you want to die, die alone, why drag others with you"

"C'mon, go easy on our daughter Gabby", Grey made his presence known as he walked to his daughter and kissed her forehead.

"Go easy Grey?, You've spoilt her too much", Gabriella rolled her eyes.

"Because she's my princess, who am I going to spoil if not her"

"I bet she's jealous because you replaced me with her", Romania chuckled and Grey also joined in the fun.

"It's not even funny", Gabriella gave the duo a stern look.

They pretended to have stopped laughing but they were cracking up deep inside.

"You know you should listen to your mother, mother knows best-

"Daddy!", Romania yelled.

She was upset with her father. The man always sided with her. But today he and his mate were ganging up on her.

"Young lady you might as well go back to your room", Gabriella crossed her arms over her chest and smiled.

Romania was just so upset but her mother's smile was worth it.

"Okay mother", the younger woman replied as she made her way to her room.

Gabriella  was internally doing her little victory dance. For a minute she thought Grey would have let Romania out.

"Happy now?", Grey smirked.

"Whatever", she rolled her eyes and walked away.

"Hey, not even a kiss for me?", Grey quirked an eyebrow up.

"Suck it up", she returned a playful smirk.

Grey laughed. He missed this side of his mate. She may not tell him, but he knew she was still sad. She missed the old Addie terribly.

They all did. The shy Omega who wasn't so shy anymore. She didn't even talk. Jace was the one they pitied most, they boy has been miserable all these years.
