The tears pulled together in Romania's eyes, with a look of betrayal etched on her face. This was the very girl she told a lot of stuffs about herself that she'd never tell anyone, not even her mother.
The same girl that brought her together with her mother.
Dreya, the girl who helped her solve all her problems.
"Was her name even Dreya?", Romania asked herself.
And she was the same girl who asked her to be on this very blind date. And just like that it all clicked, everything.
"Had everything been planned by Dreya?", Romania asked herself.
But then she couldn't even believe it. Why would she be protecting her right now if she had everything planned from the start.
This was one thing Romania couldn't help but think about. She didn't even care about her bleeding arm and the bite on her neck.
"I warned you Malacoda, I won't let you hurt her", Dreya yelled.
Her bloodshot eyes didn't go unnoticed by Romania.
"So you're going to stop me?", Mal snickered.
"Let's see you try", he challenged.
Dreya slipped as she was too busy trying to process Malacoda's words. Malacoda found a loop hole in Dreya's stance and so he slashed her through her jeans with his elongated nails.
Just as quickly as he did, the wound vanished.
"I really hate his ability of yours Dreya, I can see that even after being outside the cold halls of hell, you're still the fastest healer in history", he sneered, his anger as high as the mountains.
"Step your game up then, My Liege", Dreya teased with a bow.
Malacoda fell to his knees, pulling himself forward, towards Dreya's direction his elongated nails, leaving nail trails on the floor board of the roof top.
Dreya jumped to the other side, the impact of the fall hurting her ribs. Malacoda smirked. He couldn't cause physical wounds to Dreya because of her abilities but no one said he couldn't cause internal wounds.
His elongated nails retracted as he used his vam~pyric speed to get to Dreya's side. He locked his legs with hers then blocked her hands.
But not without pulling her against his body, her back to his front.
"Hmm, have always been addicted to your smell Dreya", he smirked.
And he realized that was something he'd been doing often.
"Would have made a power couple, with your power and mine combined, it would have been so easy to get rid of Sedit and be second to Lucifer", he added, biting her earlobe.
Dreya thrashed in his arms. This was the moment she wished she had the gift of telepathy.
"It isn't always about power Mal, I want to have a very normal life. And these wolves that you think are undeserving of the power showed me what a normal life looks like even when their world is everything but normal", Dreya flipped them over.
But still, Malacoda had the upper hand. He flipped them over, his free hand pressing deep against Dreya's throat.
"You stupid woman", he yelled.
"I'll kill you, then I'll have her blood too. Every other vam~pyre will die without her blood and so I'll be the very last vam~pyre", Malacoda boasted.
Dreya knew just how greedy Malacoda was but she wasn't surprised. She couldn't get Romania killed.
