"It's okay Rome, let's get back home already. We already escaped those guards", Norma said as she wiped the bead of sweat from her forehead.

She was feeling real uneasy. It wasn't like Grey was going to punish her but she knew her limits. And amongst the two ladies, she was the scaredy cat.

"Hymph", the youngest one amongst the duo snorted.

She wasn't ready to go back home. The place was pretty boring for her.

"Yes we escaped the guards Norm, but I'm mad that my father lied to me. This is the first time he has lied. He told me he was going to allow me outside, alone with you and now I find his guards secretly following us", Romania threw the clothes in her hands at Norma as she threw her hands up in the air.

"Hello, you brat, it's rude to throw things at your friends, especially those older than you", Norma threw a death glare at her friend.

Romania simply rolled her eyes. She knew she was wrong, very wrong, and she was sorry. But she was in no way going to admit that to Norma.

"Whatever, let's go to the ice cream shop down town and then head back", she carried the clothes she picked with her to the front desk.

What could poor Norma do? Just follow.

She handed the cashier her father's credit card, got her stuffs and walked out, with Norma quietly following behind.

She sometimes didn't understand Romania's heart. She got upset when there was no need to.

What if Grey had guards secretly following them. It was his duty to protect Romania as a father.

Even Norma knew how Romania could get, so it was equally wise of Grey to have guards secretly following them.

Norma sometimes wished she was Grey's daughter. Romania literally got away with everything. But her father treated her just as Grey treated Romania.

The problem was her mother, they never had the time to bond as mother and daughter. It used to be better, but after that night, they all haven't been the same.

Even though she was just a little girl, she still remembered it quite well.

"Norm?, What are you doing, get in the car, didn't you want to go home?", Romania looked at her friend wide eyed as she sat in the driver's seat.

It was like her friend was in a trance or something.

Norma moved to the car as she dropped the bags in the backseat and joined Romania as she sat in the passenger front seat.

"What's wrong Norm?", Romania questioned.

"Nothing Rome, just drive", she rubbed her forehead as she replied.

"You thinking about Aunt Cherry again?", Romania pried.

"Rome, I don't want to talk, take me home"

Romania kept quiet and started the car, heading straight home.

Sure she wanted to annoy her parents, but seeing her friend's sour mood all of a sudden, she had to go straight home.

She was upset and she just prayed that they would let her be. Everytime it was the curfew, the curfew this, the curfew that.

But only the Moon Goddess knew why there was a curfew. When she'd ask her mother why there was a curfew, the woman would just cut her off, not even giving her an explanation.

And they all knew perfectly well that she deserved one, every single wolf deserved to know why they couldn't stay out late at night.

It was like they were living in fear. Fear of something she didn't even know of.
