It had been days after the vampires had come to see her and Romania Green couldn't think straight. She didn't know what those creatures wanted from her.

Vampires and wolves had never seen eye to eye because of the vast difference between their races. And moreover, they saw each other as competition.

Even in the old age when some humans had discovered the supernatural world and were hunting them down.

The wolves and the vampires were still fighting against each other. Killing themselves, making it an even easier job for the hunters to eliminate them.

She had to admit they looked a lot like Dreya's kind. But she could still spot the difference because she had seen how wild Dreya's kind looked.

And now she found herself in the Alpha's library, trying her possible best to find answers to her problem.

In these past days, she had been avoiding everyone except Jasper. It was like he was the only one she could connect with.

She didn't know if it was the mate bond pulling them together or these were organic feelings and she just couldn't stay too far from him.

But then today, she had decided to keep her distance from him too. She didn't want to give him false hopes anymore.

This was because she knew very well that the bond they shared was quite impossible.

She had been in the library since morning and she couldn't seem to find anything useful. Whatever she read was the exact same thing she knew about the supernatural world.

She stood up, ready to leave the library. She didn't want her parents to even notice she was in the library.

They would just think she was overthinking things. And she saw how disturbed Grey looked recently.

In a hurry, she spilled coffee over the book she was flipping through and all over the floors.

"Oh my", she whispered.

She pulled the scarf she had around her neck, already cleaning the mess she had created. As if that wasn't enough, she had also shattered the coffee mug.

She bent down to pick up the broken pieces when she noticed a book under the chair. It looked real dusty.

She believed it was something no one had read probably in ages. Their Alpha lineage was centuries old.

She picked up the book, already trying to clean the dust as the words on the cover weren't quite visible.

"WOLF INCEST", it read.

All the blood left her face as her fingers run cold. She could only imagine how pale her face looked.

This wasn't even what she was looking for. But it was what she found. She had already decided to reject Jasper but then even the Moon Goddess knew it was something she couldn't do.

Here she had the answer to one of her problems but she was hesitant to open the book.

She was debating whether to read it or not. This could lead to her having the best moments of her life or cutting ties with Jasper.

She had already started to have real thirsty images of him in her mind. She didn't really regard him as a brother anymore.

She was disgusted when she found out. Her heart was telling her one thing, her mind  telling her a different thing and her body claiming another.
