(Thud)
The sound of Romania's wardrobe door slamming shut bounced within the walls of her room. She shoved a lot of her clothes in her suitcase.
"Stop it", she yelled.
She rushed to the bathroom and dipped her hands into water. Her hands wouldn't stop shaking.
"Relax Rome, relax", she told herself as she dried her hands, leaving the bathroom.
She shoved the very last of her clothes into the suitcase and zipped it up. That was it, she was done and leaving.
"What are you doing?", A voice said behind her.
"Grandma", Romania sighed.
"Just let me leave."
She didn't have the energy to argue with Gaia. She didn't want to stay anywhere around these people who treated her like a charity case.
What they just did, made them no different from Dreya. Dreya had also lied, she had a different intention towards her when they first met and it was the same with Gabriella.
They all hid the truth from her. Her aunt Cherry, her uncle Nick, her Godfather Usher, her mom and dad. And even her grandmother and Elphaba.
"You can't leave, it's dangerous out there. And besides where would you go?, You don't know anybody outside my walls and your father's walls", The old woman threw her hands up.
"That is something I'll figure out myself", she zipped up her handbag, realizing she had everything in there.
"And you think Grey will let you leave?, Don't react based on your emotions, think and learn to cope with the truth", Gaia tried forcing some sense into her great-granddaughter's head.
It was okay to think wild, but to act the part was another thing. And she couldn't let her only descendant that could keep their legacy going ruin it.
Briada had ruined enough and it was up to someone to correct it.
"For once, all of you should let me live. I don't want to stay around any of you. I just want to disappear", Romania whispered.
"I'll let you go, but it will be according to my rules", Gaia said sternly.
"No, I don't want your help. You're just like the rest of them, liars. And I don't care if you're my mother's grandma", Romania declined Gaia's offer.
She could survive just on her own. She didn't care if those vampires were after her. All she knew was that she needed space and she was going to get it by all means.
"I can see you took after the late King with that stone heart of yours. He found it hard to forgive too", Gaia smiled.
At least, the King wasn't gone completely. They had Romania to make them remember that once, Blake existed.
"It's that or I'm calling Grey, and let's see if he'll let you get away at all. I am your only ally", the old woman folded her arms behind her and turned around.
Romania bit inside her cheeks as she watched the old woman walk away. She balled her hands into fists and stood fidgeting.
"I'll do as you say", she gave up.
"I wasn't leaving. I'm just getting you something, wait for me", Gaia winked.
Romania had to admit the woman really had her there. At least, she was letting her go and that was good for her.
She didn't care where she ended up at. All she cared about was that she would be able to get away from the drama.
"Here", Gaia stretched forth her hand.
