"Are you certain you still want to leave princess?", Grey asked his daughter as he kissed her forehead.

The look of sadness in his eyes was enough for Romania to realize how much he hated the fact that she was going away.

"Dad, I need to do this, at least for a short while okay", she hugged him tight.

The relationship between the father and daughter was so great that it would be so hard for them to live with the distance.

"Grey, I think it's for the best. My daughter has a lot on her plate at the moment", Gabriella chimed in.

For the first time, Gabriella was taking Romania's side. Romania turned to look at her mother.

Their relationship just seemed to be getting better as the days passed by. She was the first person Romania thought would object to her decision.

But this time around, her mother did the direct opposite.

"Thank you mom", Romania showed her appreciation.

She just loved the fact that this time around, Gabriella gave her support wholeheartedly.

"Make sure to call me everyday princess", Grey made sure to emphasize that.

Romania nodded in understanding. Once she was gone, everything was going to go back to normal.

She was the one the vam~pyres wanted anyways, and looking at the brighter side of things, she wouldn't have to do anything she'd regret later on with Jasper.

Romania bid her farewells with her parents. Of course the Beta couple were there as well.

And she had to share a few drop of tears with Norma, her sister and best friend. It was one of the most difficult things she ever had to do. But then she just had to.

Grey and Gabriella watched their beloved daughter leave the comfort of their home. The same place they raised her.

But she was going to be in good hands since they were sending her all the way to the witch coven that Romania knew absolutely nothing about.

She was going to be with her grandmother Gaia, the Ancient Mother of the coven.

"She's going to be fine Grey, she needs the space", Gabriella assured her mate.

"I hope so Gabby, I hope so", Grey said with the sadness still visible in his eyes.

He sulked all the way to his office and all that Gabriella could do was watch. She just wished that she could help ease the sadness in her mate's heart.

He always had a soft spot for Romania. Gabriella had to admit her jealousy at a point in time.

But with time, she got to realize that Grey didn't think of Romania as a replacement for the daughter they lost.

He considered her as his actual daughter and so gave her all the love he couldn't give their daughter since he never got the chance to.

She hadn't been a good mother for years. At times too, the jealousy got to her so much that she was just so strict on the girl.

But then she always worried about Romania, she was just too rebellious. And the girl was just going against every rule in the book.

Till date, her heart bruised from the death of her second child. And since then, she just didn't have the heart to conceive anymore.

And there just came crisis after crisis. Not that she blamed it all on the baby they raised. But then Romania's aunt was really the cause of all of their problems.
