The crowd had just seen an example of the future to come. The F.P.A had gone from a Guerrilla Insurrection, fighting against a rogue AI, to Military Junta, fighting a War of Annihilation. President Myers scratched his head with his robotic hand and said with sorrow "I feel sorry for those who perished in this terrible war to come". General Padlock frowned and said "I had seen that happen again and again thousands of times throughout my entire career, some time with my family was exactly what I needed". Mary was horrified at this war to come, she could not believe that her Grand Daughter was going to fight in a war and save the human race from extinction. Struggling to speak, Mary said "It's like a future version of World War One". "Exactly what I was thinking" said Hunter the 2nd. Lana Valine stepped forward and asked "General Padlock, how does it feel to know that thanks to this unit of the Free People's Army, the War of Annihilation will be averted?" General Padlock scratched his eye patch and said "Every night in my dreams I hear the hellish screams of those soldiers I could not save, at least now they will live, but still, we must always remember those who perish in war". He turned around to a band on one of the huge vehicles that were called juggernauts and asked them "Day of the Fallen please". The head of the band nodded and they began singing "Day of the Fallen".
For our Nation and our People

We came from San Francisco and Sacramento
To fight on the front line
Just lads from the farms and boys from the cities

By April of 24 War-Net had fallen

The crowd burst into applause, they were in awe at this song that honoured those who died in war. President Myers smiled and said "That was beautiful". General Padlock agreed and said "It took Gary and the Kings a month to write that". Mary was impressed and asked "Are they popular in the future?" Hunter the 2nd chuckled and said "We had a bunch of small time bands write some songs and they won". Most people thought that the band and the song were good and they had really put some effort into it. President Myers was of course curious to see how the Free People's Army got their hands on the nuke they used to defeat War-Net and asked "Do you mind showing us how you got that nuke you mentioned earlier?" The crowds faces froze and after a few minutes of awkward silence, General Padlock sighed and said "Very well then". He turned on the machine and the memory played.
