The science behind soulmates// a theory that when the universe was created all atoms were split from each other and now recide in a person. Making these two being drawn to each other if especially close to one another. The two atoms touching one another sends out a reaction that differs from person to person. Such a reaction has been documented a total of 46 times throughout written history.

"Honestly Hee, you don't really believe that science theory, do you?" I questioned in amusement, seeing my brother lay on my bed with the book in his hands.

"But try and think about it!" he exclaimed at me, "it would make so much sense... I wonder how a reaction looks..."

"They probably both explode and that's the end of that pair," I shrugged and continued throwing the small tennis ball up in the air just to catch it once again.

"Aish, you're such a buzzkill... can't you be a bit romantic once in a while? Dream a bit, you know," he commented and momentarily closed his book.

"There's no need to be romantic when no one would ever like me," I reminded him with a small laugh.

"Excuse you!" he gasped at me, "have you seen how great my face is composed and how handsome I am... you have those looks too... use them."

"Oh yeah... now I totally see it," I shook my head at him, "how lucky I am to look like my brother."

"Okay... new plan, we're going out," he stated and closed his book with a satisfied look on his face, "and you're making something of your appearance. We're gonna get someone for you to kiss."

"I don't think I ever expected to hear that from you," I commented making him just let out a small laugh at me before jumping up from my bed.

"You get an exact amount of 7 minutes and 47 seconds before I return back here and force you out that door," he warned before running off from me.

I let out a sigh before pushing me up from my chair and slowly getting properly dressed, so that I wouldn't wander around in just my pajamas, whereever Heeseung would take me. Just for funs sake I had put on a time to see if Heeseung actually was serious when he said I had 7 minutes and 47 seconds. He wasn't wrong, as my phone rang he opened my door and grinned widely at seeing me stand in my room, all ready to go.

"So, where are you taking me?" I questioned him as we slipped on our shoes, down in the front hall.

"Out to a place, where there's loads of people to meet," he replied, as if it was obvious.

"A club?" I chuckled at him and he just shook his head at me.

"No... the mall," he stated and I just hummed at him.

"Ah... yes... where else," I muttered in reply as he just grinned widely and tugged me out of the door.

I was silent on the walk towards the mall, as Heeseung just would happily jump around and skip whilst humming some melody to himself. Once we actually arrived at the mall he immediately began pulling me around to every place.

"Hee, stop," I sighed as he pulled me towards another shop.

"Why?" he turned around and grinned wildly at me.

"I think I hit my pinky on something," I sighed and held up my left hand, where my finger was hurting, "it's hurting real bad."

"Why? What did you do?" he frowned at me.

"I don't know," I shrugged, "it looks fine though..."

"Lets go to one of those medical shops nearby..." he trailed off and turned around before it was like I felt a small tug on my finger, before feeling myself slowly get dragged off.

"Hee!" I loudly called out before I watched him disappear in the mass of people, before looking back to my left hand, that seemed to be leading my way, "what in the world is happening? Stop it," I hissed to myself and tried to pull my arm in the other direction, to no awail.

By each meter I walked my finger began hurting more and more, it was almost like my heart had zoomed out into my pinky and were beating fast down there. I just continued to let myself get dragged through the mall, as I tried to resist it.

It first really stopped when I felt my pinky wrap around something, and I turned around and bumped into the chest of someone. I didn't even look up at the person, I just looked down to my hand that instinctivaly had wrapped my pinky around the person's pinky as well.

"I'm so sorry, I have no idea what is happening," I excused and tried to pull my arm to myself, it didn't budge one bit, "I swear it's not normally like this... what am I even saying? My arm don't normally have a life of it's own," I stated and ran a hand through my hair before sighing and glancing up at the person I had bumped into.

He didn't even look at me, he just stared down at our hands in shock, before his mouth slowly opened.

"Hyung... where did you go?" a taller boy suddenly appeared and I looked over to him in bewilderment, "oh... Oh! It's happening! It's actually happening! And I'm witnessing it."

"What?" I questioned in confusion as I looked around, before the boy I was linked to grabbed my chin and turned my face to him as I just stoo with widened eyes.

Now that I was looking at him whilst he was looking at me, he was a lot more handsome. Perfect rosy lips, sharp foxy eyes, and a perfect straight nose.

"Oh my..." I muttered in shock.

"You... you're my soulmate," he stated making me frown at him, "the atoms..."

"What? No, no, no. You must've misunderstood, that theory is just some rambling of a weird old man," I shook my head at him in denial, "as handsome as you are, I have to pass this up. I do hope you find them," I assured and patted his chest, "so if my arm just would be so nice and work with me, I'll just leave you with your friend over there."

"Look at me," the boy calmly stated, and oddly enough I did.

I immediately stopped in my tracks and looked at him, making a small smirk appear on his face. I didn't get a chance to move before he had moved his hand over behind my head and pulled me in for a kiss. Once his lips met mine it was almost like we melted together. It felt like it just was meant to be. No matter how much I didn't want to kiss him, I just did. It felt so natural to do so.

Heck, our pinkies even let go of each other. Just for him to lift his other hand up to hold my face in both his hands as he held the kiss for me, as I still stood paralyzed in the kiss, but somehow still kissing him back.

"Do you believe me now?" the boy let out a small breath as he pulled slightly away from me.

"I guess I do," I hesitantly nodded at him.

"I'm Kim Sunoo," he brightly smiled at me, "and you're not my soulmate. Here's my number," he handed me a small lap of paper in his hand, "you never know when you need to hand it out," he winked down at me before turning to his friend who just stood and stared dumbfoundedly at us, "lets go Niki. We promised to get home with the dumplings, to your mom, in time."

I watched as Sunoo walked over and grabbed onto his friend's arm, before pulling him along and just disappearing.

"Gee... when I said we had to find someone for you to kiss, I didn't think you would actually do it," Heeseung commented and I immediately turned around and looked at his baffled face.
