Remark: This request contained more timeskips than I usually do within one chapter, just keep in mind that the timeskips isn't just like one day to another but probably with more years between them
It all really started in high school, going from just small flings to high school sweethearts felt like something straight out of a fairytale to both you and your boyfriend. Yet, now you were both starting at uni the tomorrow morning, finally completely settled into your first shared appartment which you had spent the last week decorating and moving into.
"Cut the vegetables and I'll stand in this heat, alright?" Jay questioned and softly pushed you away from the stove to stir in the ramen you two was gonna eat as your first real meal in the appartment, "carefuly not to cut yourself."
"Yeah yeah," you waved it off, way too used to his comments on being careful, "I'm always careful."
"Really? Because I recall once where you actually cut into your finger instead of the carrots... and as far as I remember that was the end of the world," Jay remarked and you glanced over at him with an evil side eye, "I love you~"
"I can cut the vegetables just fine," you quietly grumbled and Jay just hummed before turning back to the stove.
A comfortable silence fell over the kitchen as you quietly brought the knife down over the vegetables again and again, repeating the same motion almost as if you were some sort of machine doing it's job.
"Honey?" Jay softly called out and you hummed as he took the ramen off the stove and carefully placed it beside you on a small heat protector, "look at me."
"What?" you questioned as you looked over at him and his smile immediately softened while he leaned in and pecked your lips softly.
"I love you," he softly murmured and a small smile spread on your lips as you turned back to the vegetables, trying to hide the blush creeping up on your cheeks.
"I love you too," you whispered only earning a small chuckle from him.
"Look... I think we should get married," Jay admitted and immediately you choked on your spit, not really sure if you had heard him right, "yah, yah, don't die on me now, I need to know your thoughts."
"Married?" you exclaimed at him, as he just nodded, "us?"
"Who else?" he questioned in amusement, "of course us... you don't want to?"
"I mean... I'd love to, but are you sure?" you questioned hesitantly and he just nodded with all the confidence he had in his body, and a little more on top, "alright... then let's get married."
---
"You may now kiss."
You barely got the chance to look at your, now, husband before he had pulled you towards him, carefully placing his lips onto yours.
He grabbed your hand tightly in his, pulling you back down the small aisle and outside into the fresh summer air. It was weird how just holding his hand tuned out the world around you, and it only was him you saw and heard, felt.
You didn't see the guests at your wedding, you didn't hear them, and you didn't feel them. All there was him, your love, Jay.
"What?" you let out a small laugh as you stood at the bottom of the steps up into the venue where you had been wed in. Purposely not choosing to have it in a church because that was too classic for the two of you.
"I need to see if anything changed," Jay murmured as an excuse, a small cute smile resting on his face as he pressed his forehead against yours, looking deeply into your eyes.
The world was him, and nothing else. It was all just him.
"Doesn't look like it," he breathed out a small breathy laugh as you just quickly raised your chin and pecked his lips, "I love you."
"I love you too," you whispered as yells soon errupted from the venue itself.
"Yo, I get you two are in love and all, but you can't just run off like that!" Jake's voice called out and you immediately looked over towards the broad Aussie, whose hands were shoved into his pockets, "people want to see the wedded."
"Let us have a moment, will you?" Jay complained, despite the laugh in his voice.
Jake immediately raised both his hands in defense, pushing his bottom lip out slightly. Slowly a wide grin spread on Jake's face as he turned on his heel and walked back into the venue.
"He'll be a good uncle, don't you think?" you murmured and adjusted Jay's tie, glancing up at him. He didn't seem to react, he just looked down at you in adoration.
"Are you saying...?" he slowly trailed off and you just shrugged before letting your hands drop back into his again.
"I mean... some day it will be nice," you murmured as an excuse and Jay only smiled widely in return.
It had always been him, your whole world had always revolved around him and him only. Park Jongseong was the world you could hold in your hands, stare at, and adore everyday for the rest of your life.
