I quickly pulled a brush through my shoulder length hair, before grabbing my oversized grey zip-up hoodie and rushing down stairs.
"Where are you going today?" mom questioned as I stepped into the kitchen.
"I don't know yet," I shrugged at her and grabbed the strawberries from the fridge, quickly grabbing just two. Only to ease down my nervousity.
"You don't know yet?" she questioned in amusement ans I just shook my head at her as I quickly ate the two strawberries, "you seem nervous... eating strawberries. Is it a date?"
"No," I shook my head at her as a knock sounded from the door, "I have to go now mom. I'll see you later."
I quickly rushed out to the door and exited the house, before even checking who it was.
"Why in such a hurry?"Jungwon arched a brow at me.
"If my mom knew I was going on a date, I would never get away. She would have too many questions about you," I defended to him, making him let out a small laugh, "so do tell me, what are we doing?"
"You know how Jake hyung always looks so cool when he skates?" he questioned and I hesitantly nodded, "well... I borrowed his board for today, and we're gonna try."
"Dear God no," I muttered at him, "I don't think you've noticed... but I'm the clumsiest person you'll meet."
"So am I," he grinned widelly before extending his hand towards me.
I hesitantly took it, just making his grin grow even wider, before he pulled me along to the park.
For the rest of the day we took turns in trying to teach the other how to do, just from having watched Jake over the past month. In reality neither of us knew what we were doing, which just made it all more fun, and chaotic.
"I swear, if you're gonna get it now, I'm out," Jungwon stated with a sulky expression on his face, having failed his last attempt as well.
"Maybe I'm just a natural," I casually shrugged at him, as I had been the best of us so far.
"But it's not fair! I've watched Jake hyung for much longer than you," he whined at me.
"Cheer me on pouty boy!" I demanded as I placed one foot on the board. Thank god I wore flat sneakers today.
"Woho!" he called out, suddenly grinning widely.
"Bipolar," I muttered in amusement to myself before pushing off with my other foot.
I got a small amount on speed, making me grin as I managed to keep my balance. Well, that was all up until the wheels of the board hit a small stone, and I stumbled off the board. I was quickly stopped in my stumbling by Jungwon, who wrapped his arms around me, to make sure my stumbling didn't end in falling.
"Ah, it went so well for me," I sighed, making him let out a small laugh.
"How about we stop for now?" he questioned and I nodded in agreement as he let go of me, and went to grab the board for himself, "I hope you had fun."
"Oh yeah, so much," I nodded at him as he returned to my side and extended his hand towards me. I grinned widely before laying my hand in his and he immediately swung it back and forth.
"Good. I'm not that happy with those cliche dates," he scrunched up his nose, "I don't want those cafe dates and such."
"I agree," I nodded at him, "but you have to admit... I know you wanted to do this because you wanted to look as cool as your Jake hyung. Right?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about," he immediately shook his head in denial, even though the wide smile on his face told a completely other story.
So yeah... short lil story from me today. I am finally a back for a bit on this book while I finish the writing of my next book, which will be teased here after 'Let Me In' has finished... ooooh.
