I sighed as I looked down at the paper in hand, before I hesitantly entered the rink once again, one week had passed since I last was here.

"It's alright... just go in, hand over the paper and leave," I muttered to myself as I moved through the front hall.

"What do we have here?" a voice questioned and the paper was pulled out of my hand.

"Yah!" I complained and turned straight around to face Sunghoon, who held the paper up high so that I couldn't reach it, "seriously? What is your problem? One moment you hate me, the next you just want to make my life miserable."

"I don't hate you," he frowned down at me in confusion.

"And now you've already said more words to me, than you have done in the past ten years," I complained to him, "what is it that you want?"

"I want to know what you're doing here on a day where you don't train," he coldly spoke, "today is my training day. Not yours."

"And I don't care. I have to speak with trainer-nim," I retorted to him, "now give me back my paper."

"Ah... I think I'll read it first though," he excused and held the paper up high as he began reading the letter, "with the signature of both trainer and skater, this contract will decide the resignment of skater Kim Soomin, from the competing skating team..." he hesitantly trailed off before moving the paper down to normal height and just stared at it.

"Yes, fine, now give it back to me," I decided and tried grabbing out after it, before he quickly turned his back to me, so that i couldn't grab the paper.

"You're resigning from the competition team," he muttered in realization.

"Yes, I'm very aware of that," I sighed at him, "now give me back my paper.

"Why are you resigning? You're the most successful female skater on the team," he turned around with a confused look.

"Ask your leg," I snapped back at him.

"Yah! I have nothing to do with this!" he loudly defended to me.

"You have exactly everything to do with this!" I exclaimed at him, making his face drop, "not once have you at least treated me like a decent human being. You never let yourself cease to make my life miserable. So in order to make sure I never se eyour hideous face ever again, I'm resigning. I'm moving to the next town's team. Now give it back!"

"No!" he refused and held the paper up high again, as I had tried grabbing it once again, "I wasn't aware I was doing that."

"Oh come on, you clearly hate me! Ever since you started skating you've always glared at me! Heck you even tripped me on the ice as the last thing!" I reminded him.

"I didn't... I didn't mean to..." he looked down in shame.

"Didn't mean to?" I shrieked at him, making him wince slightly.

"I'm not good at socializing, okay? Let alone to a girl," he muttered as he rubbed his nape, "I don't know... I just got scared when we were paired up, and I don't know what happened in my head. But an impulse told me to injure you, so we didn't have to skate together."

"Well, you succeeded," I sighed at him, making him snap his head up to look at me with a frown.

"What do you exactly mean?" he carefully questioned.

"Haven't you heard me? I'm moving team," I reminded him, making him let out a breath of relief.

"Oh good, I thought you had gotten badly injured," he commented placing a hand on his chest.

"Shut up, you wouldn't mind if I went ahead and broke both my legs," I rolled my eyes at him.

"No, no. You misunderstood me," he quickly shook his head.

"Really? Because as I hear it, you're apparently scared of me," I pointed out to him, "I surely woudl be much less scary if I had both legs in a cast."

"I'm scared of you, because I think you're pretty!" he loudly exclaimed before covering his mouth in realization.

"What..." I trailed off and took a step away from him.

"God, I've been an idiot," he sighed and covered his face with both his hands, before handing me back the retirement contract, "here. Go retire from the team. I get it now. I was an asshole, and I can't fix this, no matter how much I want to."

"Actually..." I trailed off as I carefully took the paper back. I did feel slightly bad for him, he was just shy and it came out the wrong way. I was still mad, don't get me wrong, but somewhere I also felt slightly bad for him, "look, I need to know. Do you want to change my look on you, or do you just want to give up, and we never speak to one another again."

He went silent as he shifted his weight back and forth between his toes and heels.

"Is there a possibility that you can change your look on me?" he questioned me carefully.

"Not just like that, you have to do something for it," I reminded him and he nodded at me.

"I want to change your look on me," he nodded with determination.

"Okay," I nodded at him and ripped the paper, in my hands, straight over in half, "then how about you start not seeming so cold when we have trainings together?"

"Deal," he nodded at me.

"Great, good training then," I smiled before walking towards the exit, and throwing out the paper on the way.

"Soomin-ssi?" he called out and I turned around to look at him, "can you come with me, just for a moment?"

"Uh... I don't know," I admitted to him.

"Come on," he grinned widely at me. It was different for a change, and I liked it.

"Okay..." I trailed off before walking back up to him.

He just grinned even wider before continuing into the rink and walking down to our trainer, who seemed baffled to see the two of us there, let alone seeing Sunghoon grin that widely.

"What? Are you pulling your pair routine?" our trainer questioned and Sunghoon immediately shook his head.

"I want to change my trainings to pair trainings, up until the competition," he stated and I widened my eyes in shock at what he had said, "I think the pair routine needs more attention than my solo program. I can do it already, and I think Soomin-ssi and I need to be more comfortable in our routine to do well."

"Are you alright with this?" our trainer looked over at me, and I hesitated. Too much in shock.

"I-I," I stuttered out.

"She agreed with me," Sunghoon nodded for me.

"So you don't want to have private trainings for the next month?" the trainer asked and Sunghoon nodded.

"I'll rehearse the solo program after our pair trainings, so I'm sure I still know them," he assured her.

"Do you want to trade your private trainings as well?" our trainer turned to me.

"No, she needs all the practice she can get," Sunghoon shook his head, "the national team trainer is coming to the competition, she needs to stand out."

"As you'd like," our trainer sighed, "go get your spare skates in the locker," she told me and I hesitantly nodded and glanced at Sunghoon, who were smiling widely, once more before I rushed up and grabbed my spare skates from my locker.
