Getting to date possibly the best leader in the 4th generation of Kpop, wasn't something just anyone could do. Not that you were aware of that happening when you first got into the relationship, only a few months before he was to participate in the survival show that would change, not only his and his band members' lives, but somehow also yours.

Quite quickly all the cutesy little dates he would take you out on were gone, some were replaced by visiting him on various sets for either music shows, variety shows, music videos, extra content, modelling. But those few outings were also quite rare as the company clearly didn't like your relationship. In all honesty it was quite rare that you felt like you actually had a boyfriend, not to mention how each Winter you had to watch him go to Award Shows with other beautiful, slim and pretty girls that all were around his age.

Even though it was hard for you to sit and watch those award shows sometimes you still stayed up to watch the boys perform and quietly pray that they won all the awards they were nominated for. You had made it a habit to send him a message each time they won an award, congratulating him and cheering him on, even though he'd first reply to them long past midnight.

Maybe it was because your insecurities had taken over or maybe it had just been a stressful exam period around winter this year, but somehow you weren't awake for possibly the most important Award Show of all.

Your missing message didn't go unnoticed by the young leader, knowing they had won Best New Male Artist. Normally he would do as you said during his busy schedule and only contact you over medias and not go to see you, simply because you were worried he would get stressed. But the absent message kept bothering him on their way back to the dorm and he had automatically asked to be dropped off by your house.

That was exactly what woke you up, a few knocks on your window in the middle of the night. Having you look over at your boyfriend, standing outside in the cold December air, shivering in just his suit. Being quite groggy and tired you slowly opened your window and looked at him with a tired confusion.

"What are you doing here?" you murmured and rubbed your eyes, pulling your blanket tighter around you to shield you from the cold, "...in a suit?"

"Were you sleeping?" Jungwon questioned, his teeth clattering, having you step to the side immediately as he crawled in and closed the window behind him.

"Why wouldn't I be sleeping?" you questioned in confusion, letting him stay quiet for a few seconds before you noticed what most likely had happened, "I forgot an award show," you realized as yoru eyes widened and you immediately scrambled around your room in search for your calendar, trying to figure out what you had missed.

"Hey, hey, hey," Jungwon quickly began rushing after you through the room, trying to stop you, but somehow you kept escaping his attempted captures, "I just wanted to assure that something wasn't wrong."

"But I missed an award show," you complained as you finally found your calendar and flipped through the pages, freezing completely as you realized what you had missed, "I missed MAMA..." you murmured in shock of yourself, "how could I miss MAMA? Did you win anything?" you quickly turned to him and he immediately nodded, "oh no, Jungwon I'm so sorry."

"It's alright," he softly assured, "I just worried that the company finally had gotten to you and that you didn't... you didn't want to try anymore."

"Oh..." you slowly trailed off, slumping down on your bed, having your blanket fall down a bit.

"And I know... I kind of figured actually, that your insecurities have gotten worse," he murmured and played with his hands, carefully glancing up at you as you stared out into the room, nodding quietly, "they did?"

"How couldn't they?" you whispered, "have you seen the girls around you? Your career quite literally get to surround yourself with the prettiest people."

"I don't care," he calmly shrugged and you just let out a deep sigh before falling backwards on your bed, "I honestly don't care."

"Well, that's easy for you to say," you complained and he let out a small laugh before sitting down beside you on the bed, softly patting your stomach to get your attention.

"Oi, cutie, look at me," he urged and you very grumpily turned your eyes to look at him, "I do not care if I surround myself with pretty people, I care if you still love me as much as I love you."

Letting out a small groan you turned around and showed him your back as you curled up into a fetus position, earning a small amused yet frustrated laugh from Jungwon.

"How do you say I stay the night?" he cutely questioned as he placed his chin on your shoulder.

"You have schedule," you murmured and waved your hand in an attempt to brush him away.

"And I also have a soulmate who is in very much need of realizing how much I love them," Jungwon corrected, while you tried to hide your smile under your hand, "come on... I know you have one of my pajamases laying around."

"Top drawer," you whispered and glanced towards your chest of drawers.

Within second Jungwon had rushed over and opened the top drawer, pulling out his pajamas you had hogged the last time you stayed at the dorm.

"Tell you what," Jungwon let out a laugh as he laid the pajamas on your desk, quickly rushing over to the bed once again, moving you around until your head laid on your pillow, "I'm gonna change into my pajamas," he started and began tugging your duvet around you, "and then... I might have to wash my hair."

"I like it though," you interrupted, looking at the way his hair was parted and looked all fluffy.

"Okay, I'm not washing my hair," he corrected with a small smile before looking up at your face, "and in exactly three minutes and twentyseven seconds I am laying beside you, cuddling you so much you won't even doubt how much I love you and how much I don't care about all those pretty people. You got it?"

"Three minutes and twentyseven seconds," you nodded and he hummed before softly patting your head.

Rushing to a corner of your room he quickly stripped from his suit and got into his pajamas, which he noted had a faint scent of you, only making him smile even wider as he rushed back towards the bed, getting down under the duvet beside you.

"You know what?" he questioned as he wrapped his arms around you and brought you closer to him, "I don't care about all those so-called pretty people, because you have something they don't. You have so much more understanding of who I am, what I need, and... you're much prettier than them," Jungwon whispered the last bit as he nuzzled his nose into your cheek, "I won't give up my childhood love for any pretty face, you got that?"

"I missed you," you whispered in return and Jungwon just let out a small sigh before nodding, reminding himself to let you stay more at the dorm whenever he had schedule. Even the thought of getting home to you after a busy day was enough to get him giddy and smiley in front of you, "what are you thinking about?"

"Nothing..." he softly shook his head before pecking the tip of your nose, "try and fall asleep again, I'm sorry I woke you up."

To say your parents were confused as to when Jungwon had come over in the morning was an understatement, but they still wasted no time in congratulating him with the award he had won with his group the night bare.
