Twigs continued to snap under your feet as the chill night air felt like sandpaper everytime you heaved it down into your lungs. The running chase you had found yourself in, in the woods, was not exactly how you imagined your night would go when you went for that walk in the park. Now you were just a bit outside the city running through the forest by the highway.

One look over your shoulder, for a sight of your chaser, was all you needed for you to overlook a tree root sticking out from the ground underneath your fast moving feet. How typical.

You immediately flew forward when your left foot had caught on the root, but your speed had given you enough force to hit the ground once and roll over your shoulders before having to lay still and accept the defeat that you had fallen down.

Your lungs were burning with every breath you took, now that was also topped with an ache that slowly spread from your shoulderblades and down into the lower parts of your back and the back of your thighs. You were done for.

A growl nearby had made your eyes snap open and look up towards your forehead, from which you could just sense the creature that had started hunting you in the park. By the familiar look of a lion's mane you scrambled to get away and backed away - quickly facing the monster in front of you.

The creature didn't move, it just stared at you while continuing to growl with it's lion head, it's snake tail was hissing lowly at you, while the goat head growing from it's back just stared at you with evil eyes.

"Oi! Are you alright?" a voice yelled out for you and you quickly glanced over your shoulder before looking back at the creature. Maybe it would attack while you were occupied with the voice, "looks like you took quite a fall there."

The person calling for you grabbed your shoulder and you flinched and abruptly the creature in front of your eyes were gone.

"Hey... you're new here... aren't you?" the boy questioned and frowned at you as he crouched down beside you and cocked his head to the side, "I'm sure I haven't seen you around here."

"The... the..." you trailed off, still panting and pointing to where the creature had just stood beforehand.

"A chimera, don't worry about those. You're in safety here," the boy chuckled before reaching out his hand and sending off white waves in an odd fog, "protected by the Olympian rules... which means..." he trailed off before frowning to himself and eventually letting out a heavy sigh, "I have to tell Xia to get ahold of her dad. He needs to control those things."

"... What?" you muttered in confusion and only watched the boy as he stood up and extended a hand towards you.

"Are you coming? You're new, you should be shown around," the boy excused, "ah... sorry. I'm Jungwon. I'll let you wait with your introduction until I know you've caught your breath again."

Hesitantly you grabbed his hand and let him pull you to your feet, carefully dusting off your pants when you finally got up on your feet.

"Did you injure yourself too much?" Jungwon questioned and you immediately shook your head.

You probably did get some bad bruising on your back, but none of it was noticeable to you in that moment due to the adrenaline pumping through your veins.

"Alright, follow along. I'll just show you around and we'll find your cabin afterwards... even though... I don't think the captains know you're here, we'll figure it out later," Jungwon waved it off and started walking along to where he came from while you just followed him silently.

A little bit above a small hill you were faced with a whole camping site you had never seen before. You swore that camp was new, even though it looked like to have been in that exact position for at least ten years. There were a total of fifteen cabins all surrounding a bit bonfire place - with a few kids sitting around.
