Soul marks//
In which a pair of soulmates carry one identical birthmark on their body. In rare cases the pair carries two marks each, these are said to carry a deeper love for one another.
Mom had always praised to me how important both my birthmarks were, how happy I would end up being with having two. In all honesty I didn't like having two that much, sure it was probably gonna be great when I got older, but being a high school student just made life hard for you. Everyone seemed to go around and envy me for it, leading to them just ignoring me.
Mina, my sister, already claimed to know who my soulmate were. She knew so many people after all. She always went about and complained how lucky I was, not because I had two marks, but because she claimed that my soulmate apparently was the sweetest and most handsome person she's ever met.
At the moment she and I were at the mall, she had wanted to go and look at some new shoes. It had been quite nice to just go out with your older sister, if you look away from the fact that she suddenly had left me and I now were walking around by myself in the big mall, trying to find her.
As I had begun walking down one of the ways in the mall I had been met by the sight of some dude in a bucket that walking quite fast towards my direction as a wave of girls called out behind him, seemingly fighting to get up front.
I had been completely paralyzed by the sight, so once the boy had reached me he had softly grabbed onto my arm and pulled me with him, however, I kept looking over my shoulder to watch the big crowd of girls, in shock whilst I struggled to keep up with the boy's fast pace.
Three quick turns and he had pulled into some smaller hallways before having pulled me into a broom closet. First then he had let go of my hand as he had stood with his forehead leaning against the door.
"Why in the world didn't you move?" He let out a sigh at me before turning around to look down at me as he pulled off his bucket hat, revealing soft looking black hair
He wore a face mask so the bottom half of his face was covered, but I could still see a mark under his right eye.
If he is this handsome with the mask on, I don't want him to pull it down completely.
"Why in the world would you drag a hoard of girls around the mall?" I quickly defended myself making him run a hand through his hair as one of his eyebrows arched.
I think I might just nearly have died.
I stumbled a bit backwards in shock, but he quickly wrapped an arm around my waist before just looking down at me.
"You're quite clumsy aren't you?" He commented in amusement as he raised his hand to move his mask.
I swear if he's any more handsome under the one, or just has another mark on his nose... I. Will. Faint.
He quickly pulled down his mask and my oh my... This dude has been blessed by the gods. Not only was he extremely good looking... But he also had a mark on his nose.
My eyes immediately rolled backwards in shock and I felt my knees buckle under me. Making him quickly catch me again before letting out a small laugh.
"I'm that handsome?" He questioned whilst smiling down at me... What a dashing smile.
"I... I..." I stuttered debating whether of not I should pull down my own mask.
"You what?" He questioned in amusement.
"Screw it," I muttered and quickly pulled down my mask making his eyes widen and his smile turn into a shocked 'o' shape.
"Is that real?" He questioned in shock.
"Of course it is real, how stupid do you think I am?" I complained to him, before his grip around my waist loosened.
"Well, this wasn't exactly how I expected us to meet," he sheepishly admitted, "but... Can I give you my number?"
"I actually... I forgot my phone at home," I excused, recalling how difficult it had been searching for my sister without a phone.
"Then give me your hand," he quickly decided and pulled up a pen from his pocket, biting the cap off immediately.
I hesitantly extended my hand to him and he quickly scribbled down his number on my hand.
"Text me when you find your phone," he urged and I just nodded in silence, "I'm Park Sunghoon, please don't look me up on the internet."
"I won't," I assured with a nod, making him smile once again before pulling up his mask and placing his bucket hat on his head.
"I'll be expecting your text," he pointed out before quickly disappearing out of the broom closet and walking off.
