Rewrite The Stars | P.Sh

Requested by rebecca_kcnbr , I decided to write it on 'Rewrite The Stars' from The Greatest Showman. I hope you don't mind

It had all started by accidentally having promotions at the same time, and coincidentally passing each other on the hallways at Inkigayo. He had started with sending you small little glances whenever we were in the same room, and of course I had seen after our youngest had begun pointing it out to me.

He was more handsome in real life, I had to admit that. But he was also much more bold in real life, from what we've seen at interviews and such. I had never expected him to subtly hand me his number once when we passed each other on the hallways. 

It had been quite cute when I actually had gathered the courage to text him and ask why he had given my number. He simply thought I was cute and had to admit I was his celebrity crush since my debut. So now that he had seen me in real life and experienced how I treated other people he actually wanted to get to know me.

 He was one of those boys that was so pure and good in his intentions that I simply hadn't been able to reject his request of becoming friends with the possibility of more. But I knew a small company as mine wouldn't be able to survive a dating scandal in my group, and I had to cut it off. The only reason we weren't dating was because I knew that simple thing.

I had managed to get in contact with their CEO and had been given permission to enter the company building, which was much bigger and easier to get lost in than my own. But I had somehow still managed to find the practice room.

I quietly knocked on the door before creaking it open and poking my head inside, carefully waving at the seven boys in there.

"Noona," Sunoo happily spoke as I just nodded at him.

"Can I speak with you?" I questioned as my eyes landed on Sunghoon, who glanced around before slowly nodding at me.

"We'll... we'll step out on the hallway," Jay carefully spoke and I slowly nodded before stepping into the practice room and watching as the other six boys rushed out past me.

Once the door beside me closed I looked over to Sunghoon with a slightly awkward gaze before I pulled off my mask and looked at him.

"What?" he smiled at me. The usual happy smile he always smiled at me. As if he was so excited and happy to see me.

"We have to stop our contact," I spoke making his smile immediately falter.

"What? Why?" he questioned making me sigh.

"We can't afford a dating scandal the same way Belift can," I simply shook my head making him rush over and grab onto my hand.

"You know I want you... it's not something I've tried to hide from you," he stated and I just nodded at him.

"You think it's easy?" I questioned him making him just stare at me, "you think I don't wanna run to you?"

"But why not let me love you?" he questioned with a sad look.

"How can I let you do that when everyone tells us what we can be?" I questioned him with a small snort, "it's not up to you, and it's not up to me."

"But... you're the one I was meant to find. So who can stop me if I decide that you're my destiny?" he questioned making my heart leap a few times, "please... lets try this and then lets keep it hidden and when the right time comes we can reveal it and rewrite the stars."

"No one can rewrite the stars," I shook my head at him, "everything keeps us apart, so let it be like that."

"But-" he started and I simply shook my head making him stop talking.

"I have to admit I really actually fell in love with you, and I do love you. But this is not possible. It just isn't," I shook my head at him, "don't make this harder than it already is, Sunghoon."

"Can I ask you something before you decide to end this?" he questioned making me quietly nod at him, "can I kiss you? I just... I need to know before you let go. But only if you'll let me."

"It's okay," I nodded at him.

He raised his eyebrows at me as if getting another confirmation of my claim, to which i only nodded once more. He let out a deep breath before pulling me closer to him, by the hand he was holding. He immediately placed his other hand on the back of my nape and leaned in.

When I felt his lips on mine I immediately regretted all my words. I wanted to take back all the claims that I couldn't do this. I could do this, but I was just scared. But his kiss managed to make me forget all about my fear. I wanted to be able to meet up with him, even if it was in secret, and I wanted to go on dates with him, and... and I wanted to be able to kiss those lips more than just this once.

This meant that once he had pulled away from me I had for a moment followed after him, trying to kiss him again. Much to my own embarrassment. He even let out a small laugh at my action making me let out a sigh.

"You don't wanna cut this off," he stated making me just nod in agreement, "don't do this to yourself. We can do it..." he assured and tugged a strand of my hair behind my ear, "we'll keep it a secret. Our hands are not tied, we can do this."

"I'm just scared that when we go outside, you'll wake up and see it's hopeless afterall," I admitted making him immediately shake his head.

"I'll let nothing keep us apart," he calmly spoke, "just let me rewrite the stars with you."

I let out a small sigh before glancing around the room, finally looking back at his enchanting eyes that just starred back at me with a hopeful look.

"We need to do everything to keep it a secret from the public," I stated and he just happily nodded at me.

"I promise... I will," he nodded at me.

"Sorry, but none of you happen to have any tissues?" a voice spoke up making me look to the side to see six faces looking in through the door, Jake standing with teary eyes.

"Why are you so touched?" Sunghoon exclaimed with a laugh making me cup my face in embarrassment.

"Is noona part of the family now?" Niki spoke up making me let out a small laugh at him.

"If you want me to be, then sure," I nodded at him making a wide grin immediately spread on the face.

Seeing the happy looks on the six boys in front of me I looked up at Sunghoon, he was already looking down at me with a small smile on his face. Just staring at me as if I was the whole world.
