Ice Skating {Levi x Reader}

The cold and crisp morning air nipped your skin as you stepped out of the Baskerville Manor and into the bright white snow. It was so early that you assumed everyone else was still asleep, so you decided to sneak out. It was the first snow of the year and you were excited to go out and adventure in it before it decided to melt. You wrapped your heavy navy blue wool coat tightly around you, as you decided to take a short walk to the pond just a little ways ahead of the manor. The path you followed to the pond lead you through many snow covered trees, as you watched the little critters scatter their way through all the snow to make it to their warm little burrows. It was a very peaceful morning indeed.

The iced over pond became clear to you as you stepped out into the clearing from the trees. You thought you would be the only one out here on such a lovely winter morning, but you were mistaken. There on the ice of the pond was a familiar figure. His movements as he glided along the ice were smooth and graceful. His long silver hair that was tided into a ponytail that swayed beautifully along with turn he took, flying around him like a pair of wings as he danced upon the ice. His movements entranced you. Your gaze never once lingered, even when he came to a halt and stared right back at you with his smug face and lavender eyes. You could feel your cheeks redden, but not because of the cold.

"I'm amazing, am I not?" He grinned as he skated to the end of the pond to great you.

You just smiled as he tilled his head to the side, his long silky hair falling over the shawl he always wore.

"Are you just going to stare or are you going to join me?" He asked, nodding his head towards the pair of skates that I had totally forgotten in my hands.

"O-oh, yes!" I exclaimed, slightly embarrassed by my behavior.

Levi just chuckled as he extended a gloved hand my way, helping me onto the ice. It had been a while since the last time I had skated. You never really had time during the winters to come out for leisure time. Usually you were busy, but luckily for you, waking up early was in your favor today, especially with Levi around.

"Shall I have this dance, (y/n)?" Levi asked with a face full of confidence and pride.

Your face was flushed and you knew Levi knew it too. There was no hiding what that man does to you. Even the tips of your bright red ears were giving you away. This man was enjoying teasing you too much already, and it isn't even 8 in the morning yet!

You squeezed Levi's hand as your answer, still to shy to say much to the man himself. Your heart was beating too loudly you figured it spoke enough for you, allowing Levi to hear all your true feelings without having to say much at all. You were thankful for that. You were happy he could read you so well without your own words embarrassing yourself in front of him....not like he would mind, he loves the way you are. You're honesty intrigues him. Everything about you interests him. Even now, without looking too hard he already knows your cheeks are tinted pink because of him. The tip of your nose is red due to the cold. Your eyes, too shy to make direct contact with his, never once made left the ice as he guided you around the pond. You probably didn't realize it. You probably though it was the other way around, but Levi was tided up in your being. You had him wrapped tightly around your finger.

The skate around the pond was peacefully silent. Levi's left hand was at the small of your back while his other held onto one of your hands, to keep at least one of your gloveless hands warm, breathing his hot breath onto it once in a while. Allowing your hand close enough to his soft lips, he brushed light kisses to the back of your hand so he could tease you. He would twirl you around from time to time and watch in awe as your long minty green dress danced along with you on this snowy winter morning. No matter how cold it was out, it didn't faze either of you two. Both too caught up in each other's presence, the warmth of your silent love for each other was enough.
