Bedtime Stories {Leo x Reader}

"{y/n}," you heard someone whisper softly in your ear, "You will catch a cold if you keep sleeping here."

You had fallen asleep yet again in the library at the Nightray's manor, while reading your favorite book series, The Holy Knight. You didn't budge to Leo's voice.

"Geez, you are just as bad as Elliot." Leo muttered as he wrapped his arms around you and walked you to bed.

"Leo?" you whimpered slightly as he softly laid you down onto your bed.

"What is it, {y/n}" he asked as he finished tucking you in.

You didn't say a word, you just clenched tightly onto his shirt sleeve.

"Do you want me to stay with you?" he asked settling down on the floor next to your bed.

Nodding in response, Leo smiled. He ran his fingers softly through your {h/l} {h/c} hair, looking down lovingly at your sleeping figure. He brushed some hair out of your face. 

"Leo." you said again.

"What is it, {y/n}?" he asked as his hand came to rest at the top of your head.

"I want...to know how the rest of the story ends." you muttered out.

Leo smiled and nodded. "Alright, i'll read you the rest of the story, but promise me you will get some sleep afterwards?"

You opened your eyes slightly as you looked to your boyfriend and nodded.

Leo stood up and left your room, but not even a minute later he came back with your book. sitting down on the floor, he got into position on his knees, and started to read out loud to you from where you had left off. you only had about twenty more pages left.

About half an hour later Leo closed the book, and ended it with saying, "The end." looking up to you, he saw you had already fallen asleep. When did that happen? Did you even hear the ending? Setting the book on your nightstand, Leo stood up and leaned down so his face was only an inch from yours.

"Goodnight, {y/n}, sweet dreams." he said before softly pressing his lips to your forehead and blowing out the candle that lit your room. "I love you." were the last words he said before leaving your room, and closing the door behind him.

I'm sorry if this chapter is shorter than my previous ones. I wasn't quite sure what else to write in a chapter where Leo reads you a book, but I thought it was a cute idea, so I did it anyway.
