Stargaze {Genderbent!Echo x Reader}

You were out taking a walk out in town and admiring the night, along with Echo who came along as an escort. Echo never really made any attempt to talk to you, but to fill in the silence you told your own share of stories, which Echo seemed to be enjoying.

As you still continued to tell your stories, out of the blue Echo grabbed hold of your hand and began to run.

"W-wait, Echo?! Slow down!" You called to the boy as he still continued to run, with a tight grip to your hand.

He continued to run until he came to a building in which he scooped you into his arms, and jumped from the ground up to some boxes that were left in the alley, to a small landing of a building roof, until finally he reached the roof. Then, listening to your demands, he placed you back down on your feet.

"What was that all for!?" You shouted flustered. "What if something had happened to one of us? Or if you had sli....." your words started to drift out as you took in the beautiful night sky that surround the two of you.

"It's...stunning...magical...." you whispered to yourself.

Echo sat down upon the roof and motioned for you to sit beside him. Sitting down next to him you looked back up at the stars before laying onto your back, and pulling Echo down beside you. He was close enough to feel the warmth of his body heat. You felt as if you and Echo were the only two on the Earth.

As you gazed up at the stars, you felt a hand slide over your enveloping it with heat. You turned your head towards Echo in surprise to see him with the faintest of a blush.

You giggled, "Is this your way of a surprise date?" You asked.

You could tell he grew more shy at the question as he held on tighter to your hand, with was all the answer you needed.

"Thank you, Echo." You said leaning over to give him a soft warm kiss on the corner of his lip. Making him shy away from you even more, but he never once let go of your hand. All he did was hold it closer to his chest, feeling the light thumps of his heartbeat. Your face started to warm up as you smiled warmly towards Echo, before cuddling up next to him, as he wrapped his arms around you, watching the stars on this cool summer's night.
