"What are you doing, {y/n}, Nya." The cat boy asked as he peered over your shoulders.

You're cat ears twitched in annoyance. "None of your business. Now, why don't you disappear somewhere and annoy another." You said with a wave of your hand, not even paying any attention to Cheshire.

"Come on, {y/n}-chan!" He started to whine, "I'm bored Nya."

With a huff you got up and walked away, making Cheshire follow after you.

"You're hiding something, Nya?"

"No, I am not hiding something. Now get lost!" You said speeding up your pace.

"Come on, {y/n}-chan, you can show me." He said finally in reach of you to catch hold of your shoulder, and spin you towards him.

You blushed quickly covering up what you were holding in embarrassment. "Cheshire, you stupid cat!" You shouted still trying to cover up your possession.
Cheshire just stood there in surprise before letting out a small laugh.

"Don't laugh!" You yelled giving him a slight smack to the shoulder.

"Sorry, sorry, {y/n}-chan, Nya. I never expected you tow be fond of cat toys, Nya Nya." He said with another laugh.

You blushed even brighter as you hugged you favorite stuffed cat close to your chest, in an attempt to hide it even more. You never wanted Cheshire to know about your favorite stuffed cat. You knew he would just make fun of you.

"You're so cute, Nya." He said nuzzling your cheek with the tip of his nose. "Can I hold it?" He asked.

You jumped a bit out of surprise, why did he act so calmly towards your favorite possession. Wasn't he going to make fun of you? You debated wether or not to let him see the stuffed cat, but let him look at it anyway.

"Something {y/n} holds so dear...must be nice, Nya." He said holding the stuffed cat with gentle care, almost as if it was a real cat.

"You don't think it's weird?"

Cheshire looked into your eyes and gave you a small, reassuring smile. "Of course not, Nya. I think it's nice to have something to love." He said with almost a suddenly sad expression.

He handed you back your toy and gave you another small smile, covering up the fact something was a matter.

"Cheshire, do you..um...have anything you hold dear?" You fidgeted nervously waiting for a reply.

He opened his mouth as if to say something, before closing it and nodding. "I do, Nya."

You looked up at him to see if he was going to continue, but he looked like he was debating or not wether to talk.

"Can...can you tell me?" You asked.

You could see a slight tint of pink hue his cheeks before answering in a mumble, "...you..."

You gasped in surprise before being pulled into a warm and loving embrace. Laying your head against the cat boy's chest, you could feel his heart beat nervously. Stroking your hair softly, Cheshire mumbled into your hair, "I love you, {y/n}-chan, Nya."
