You knocked sadly on Elliot's bedroom door. You had just finished reading your favorite book series, {f/b}, and your favorite character, {f/c}, had just died. You held the book in your one hand as well as a tissue as Elliot opened the door.

You could see the shock upon his face as he looked at the miserable state you were in. You didn't even need a mirror to know your eyes were red and puffy, and that tears stained your cheeks.

"{y/n}," Elliot started until he noticed the book in your hand. Stepping aside he ushered you into his room.

Elliot knew how much this series meant to you, and he knew that you got way to easily attached to the characters, but he still couldn't stand to see you in this state. He knew how you must feel, and was afraid this would happen to you eventually.

Grabbing a new box of tissues, Elliot sat on the edge of his bed, leaving room so you could sit beside him, but instead you moved his arms so you could curl up on his lap.

Elliot had no idea what to do at first. He figured he would be a good listener and let you talk things out, not want to be comforted, especially by him. He had no idea what to do in this kind of situation, but he slowly wrapped his warm arms around you, stroking your {h/l} {h/c} hair.

You relaxed into his embrace. Burying your head into his chest, you listed to the racing heartbeat of your boyfriend's. You felt safe and calm whenever he was around. He made you feel as though you could forget all the horrible things that can happen.

Elliot did not once complain as you cried into his shirt, basically using him as a tissue. All he wanted was to make you feel better. Whenever somebody's favorite character dies it sometimes feels like you lost a part of yourself, or a part of your life, and all Elliot wanted was to show you that he would always be there. No matter what the troubles may be, he would never leave you alone.
