It was a rainy and dreary day out as you stood at the stop light waiting to cross the road with your clear umbrella in which raindrops raced down. You smiled down at your phone which read 11:36 a.m. with a picture of you and your boyfriend as the lock screen.

You were on your way to meet your boyfriend, Leo, at Starbucks. You wore one of your best, but yet comfortable outfits, which was a {color} sweater and {color} {bottoms} with {color} {shoes}.

Once crossing the street you quickly took off towards the café, hoping that you weren't making Leo wait. It had been a rough week at {occupation} and you haven't had the time to relax and meet up with Leo in what felt like forever, and you were really looking forward to it!

As the green sign with the mermaid appeared in sight, you quickened your pace until you reached the door and threw it open, rushing inside to get out of the rain, all the while closing your umbrella first.
You observed the small café when finally you saw your boyfriend smiling lovingly at you from across the room.

You could feel your own smile widening as your cheeks blushed and you walked happily towards him and sat down in the seat across from him.

"Sorry I'm late, I hope you didn't have got wait long." You said as you tried to calm your racing heart. You never knew how much you could miss a person by being away from them for so long, even if it was only a week, but now your loved one was finally before you and you could not be any more happier.

"Don't worry about it love, I already placed our orders for us, so they should be ready shortly." Leo said as he reached across the table and placed his soft warm hand over yours.

You missed his gentle touch, his warm hugs, and sweet voice. With your free hand you clenched you nails into your palms, because it was all you could do to try and keep yourself from crushing your lips into his in front of the café.
Even more, you were so tickled at the thought of Leo remembering your favorite order, which somehow increased your love for him even more, because a man who remembers your food order is a definite keeper.

"In the meantime {y/n}, as we wait for our food, I just finished reading this great series called The Holy Night, and I really recommend it!" He excitedly pulled the book from his bag and passed it to you as the waitress brought you both your order of {favorite Starbucks order}.

You read the back of the book and glanced at the first few pages as Leo proceeded to joyfully tell you all about the series, which made you want to read the books all the more seeing how happy Leo was just talking about them.

"Just a warning though {y/n}, if you ever read the books, just be careful of who's side you are on when talking to Elliot, because he is a big fan of the series and we both know how aggressive Elliot can get."
Just that thought sent a small shiver down your spine. You could remember the last time you and Elliot fought over a series and it lasted for almost a month. You never wanted to go through that again because Elliot would never live it down.

The rest of the date was spent of you and Leo talking about books and catching up on the time you guys were apart, and by the end of it, all you guys wanted was to be in each other's arm again.

Leo stood up and grabbed both yours and his belongings as you and him then stepped outside and raised the umbrella over you both and ran back to your place, where you both snuggled together on the couch exchanging few words and warm kisses here and there as you both watched your favorite {movie/show}.

"I love you, {y/n}." Leo coed into your ear as you sat curled up in his lap, wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket.

This was the time you enjoyed most, spending a day with the one you love most.
