New POV :}

Draco's POV:

   From the day she saved me in flying class, I have been puzzling through everything I have ever thought about her and threw it all away. Rose saved me and I owe her. But how would a Slytherin like me, gain the friendship of a Gryffindor like her.

   Since the day she saved me at our first flying lesson, I had started to observe her anytime I had the chance. I usually watched her when she and her friends weren't looking. It was the only way I knew that I could watch her without her knowing. If she ever found out, she might get creeped out which she definitely would be.

   However, one quiet Saturday morning, I decided to finally thank her properly for saving me; I began to think of giving her an anonymous gift and one day, reveal that it was from me. I went to my secret hiding spot in the school. Usually, I get bored with hanging out with Crabbe and Goyle sometimes and take time for myself to think or do my schoolwork. Until I found a peaceful little flower garden right by the Forbidden Forest. It was full of the prettiest little blooms full of many different shapes and colors; the sight finally brought me a bit of pleasure for once.

   I enclosed the garden with an enchantment so that I would be the only one who could see or enter it. I just found that place so heartwarming and since I never really feel that kind of thing at home, so I started using that place to feel safe from everyone else whenever I felt upset or overwhelmed. So that was where I went to come up with the perfect "thank you for saving me" gift; as a Slytherin, perfect literally means no flaw or mistake shall be made whatsoever.

   I began brainstorming on things about her that fully described her and wrote them down in my journal with some Invisible ink(only he'll be able to see the contents unless someone broke the enchantment).  My journal is the only other thing I use to trap my true thoughts and feelings. To anyone else, It shows layers of notes and scribbles of notes from my schoolwork. To me though, and me only, it's a sanctuary for the deepest and darkest parts of my soul to escape to for comfort. I finally decided that I would make her a charm bracelet, out of things that describe her best.

   The first thing I wrote down was what she was named after, a rose. But not just any rose; the most extraordinary red rose ever spotted in the whole world. The rose would be perched in a wide field of roses. Thousands of dazzling pink and white roses; her rose would be like the others, graceful and uniform, however, her rose would be the most beautiful flower in the whole field. The flower would dance in the field with the wind as her guide, and it would never dry up or never freeze, for it would be the rose that never faded and never died.

   Then I used a whitetail doe. Besides being able to hold her ground, Rose was one of the kindest people I had ever met. Even as we are currently nemesis's she always gives an effort to bring others joy and I usually envy that in her. I always feel a weird safety whenever I am around her. Which reminds me of a gentle and peaceful deer. They are also quite graceful which is another thing I admire about her. She may not feel the same way but it doesn't matter, because I will have 7 years at the school to be able to build up some bloody courage to tell her how I feel.

Next, I thought of her pet owl, Robyn. I always saw him flying around the school and Owlery and decided to use him as a representation of what Rose values most in life. Robyn is the type of pet that genuinely brings out someone's true heart and soul whenever they are around that person. Rose was usually really happy and calm whenever Robyn would send/retrieve letters for her.

The final thing I wrote down was something that I always thought about whenever she was around. Rose was the most beautiful and unique girl I'd ever known, and for that the last charm for the bracelet, I would use a small glass orb with the image of a girl standing in a meadow, watching a beautiful golden sunset. It was quite a peaceful image and I instantly smiled just thinking about it. I probably seem really obsessive and the truth is, I am envious of Rose, and how much kindness she has for the world. She even had enough to save me in our first flying lesson. I have no idea how someone like her can tolerate someone like me but I admire her for it.

I sat down to think for a while in my spot before taking off back to the school to begin forming my gift for Rose which I would have delivered to her dorm for Christmas. I have no idea if she will even like it, but I'm determined to make it the best gift ever.
