*Third person POV*

The morning after detention, Harry, Rose, and their friends were gathered around the fireplace and deep in conversation. Harry and Rose had both shared their experiences with the same hooded figure and came to one conclusion; the hooded figure was indeed the Dark Lord, aka, Voldemort.

"You mean You-Know-Who's out there, right now, in the forest?" Hermione asked after listening to Harry and Rose's discovery.

"I can't believe it either Hermione, but yes, he is out there...." Rose spoke gloomily.

"Yeah, and just when I thought we'd be safe for the rest of the year, talk about bad luck." Ron exclaimed in a harsh tone.

"But the thing is Ron, he's weak. He's living off the unicorns. Don't you see? We had it wrong! Snape doesn't want the Stone for himself; he wants the Stone for Voldemort. With the Elixir of Life, Voldemort will be strong again. He'll... he'll come back....only then will we have to worry."

"Harry.....you really think he'll come back?" Rose asked nervously.

"Unfortunately Rose........I do. But we will be ready for it. Our parents didn't send us to this school for no reason now did they?"

"No I guess not." Rose smiled slightly.

"But, if he comes back, you don't think he'll try to... kill you, do you?" Ron asked with a worrisome expression.

"I think if he'd had the chance, he might've tried to kill me and Rose tonight."

"....And to think. I've been worrying about Snape's Potions final."

"Wait! Hold on. We're forgetting one thing. Who's the one wizard Voldemort always feared? Dumbledore. As long as Dumbledore's around, Harry, you and Rose are safe. And as long as Dumbledore's around, you can't be touched." Hermione said.

"Well, you know what that means do you?" Harry stated.

"What, Harry?"

Harry suddenly rushes out the door with Rose, Ron, and Hermione rushing to keep up. They end up back down at Hagrid's Hut where Harry spots what he was looking for. He rushed over with the group trailing behind.

"Hagrid! Who gave you the dragon egg? What did he look like?"

"Why, I dunno, Harry. He kept his hood up. His face wasn't visible so I didn't get eh good look at em." Hagrid replied.

"Well, you and this stranger....you must've talked...."

"Of course we talked....he wanted to know what sort o' creatures I look after. And ya know, I said, after Fluffy, a dragon ain't gonna be no problem, hehe."

"Was he interested in Fluffy?"

"Of course he was interested in Fluffy. How often do ya come across eh three-headed dog. But I told that man...the trick to any beast is to know how to calm him."

"And did he ask for a way to calm him?"

"Uh-huh. And I told him in order te calm Fluffy, he needs ter play a bit o' music to send the beast into a slumber. Then he'd be free to pet him or whatnot."

Harry looked at Hagrid and then his friends wide-eyed. The looked back in shock before they bolted back up to the school. Hagrid tried to call them back but they were already very far ahead. They ran up to Professor McGonagall's office, in search of Dumbledore.

"We have to see Dumbledore. Immediately!" Rose spoke.

"Well I am sorry but I'm afraid he's not here. He received an important letter from the Ministry of Magic and left."

"Now? But this is important! It's about the Sorcerer's Stone!" Harry said.

"Yes wel- Wait, how did you?-"

"Someone is trying to steal it, Professor!" Ron interrupted her.

"I don't know how you all know, but I assure you the Stone is well protected. Now please, go to your dormitories and don't say another word."

The four friends walked out of her classroom and stopped.

"Well, one thing is for sure...if Snape gets that stone, we are done for." Hermione said.

"Yeah....so what do we do?" Ron asked.

"I hope your thinking what I am thinking Harry." Rose said as she looked at her brother.

"I think I am. We have to go down the trap door.....tonight."

The friends nodded at each other before walking back to the Gryffindor Common Room to change into suitable clothing.
