*Third-person pov*
Harry, Rose, Ron, and Hermione, made it through the next day with ease, allowing the twins to break off and go to their separate activities.
Harry, headed off to find Oliver for their first day of Quidditch teaching, while Rose headed to her first day of Animagus class.
Harry's POV:
I found Oliver out near the courtyard with a case that had a peculiar crest on it. He had me help him carry it out to the training grounds before setting it down to begin the lecture.
"Quidditch is easy enough to understand. Each team has seven players; 3 chasers, 2 beaters, 1 keeper, and a seeker. That's you. There are three kinds of balls." He explains before opening the case. He picks up a red one about the size of his entire hand.
"This one's called the Quaffle. Now, the chasers handle the Quaffle and try to put it through one of those three hoops." Oliver explained as he pointed out the three tall hoops, standing in the Quidditch field in the distance. "The keeper, that's me, defends the hoops."
We tossed the Quaffle back and forth for a second before he put it back.
"With me so far?" he asked hopefully.
"I think so. What are those?" I asked pointing to two struggling balls held down by chains in the case.
"Um..here take this," Oliver said handing me a small bat. He unlocked one of the chains and a single brown ball whizzed aggressively into the air. It soared wildly through the air before turning around to come straight at me. "Careful, now, here it comes" Oliver warned.
I took a swing of the bat and sent the ball flying in the other direction.
"Huh. Not bad Potter. Not gonna lie, you'd make a fair beater..." "uh-oh" he mumbled before catching the ball after it sent him tumbling to the ground. He wrestled it back into its chain.
"What was that Oliver?" I asked.
"Bludger.... nasty little buggers," He panted, out of breath. "But you...Mr.Potter is a seeker."
He grabbed a tiny little golden ball out of a tiny compartment held inside a flap with the Quidditch crest on it.
"The only thing I want you to worry about, Harry, is this... the Golden Snitch." He spoke, handing me the pretty looking ball.
"I like this one.....but what do I do with it...?" I asked examining it.
" You like it now. Just wait though. It's wicked fast and damn near impossible to see. And you Potter will have to catch it......before the other team's seekers can that is. If you catch this, Potter and the game is over. You catch this? And we win!" he finished.
The ball flew out of my hand and it never left my drain of sight. I guess I really am a seeker after all!
Rose's POV:
Rose is about to enter the classroom where she will learn the art of 'Ars animalis transformatio' also known as Animagus Transformation.
I entered the corridor towards Professor McGonagall's classroom and walked inside. I looked around and saw my teacher, once again, perched on her desk in her cat animagus form, while Professor Kettleburn was mumbling to himself in his wheelchair. Professor McGonagall leaped off the table and morphed back into her human form, whilst walking over to greet me.
"Welcome, Ms.Potter. Glad you could join us today." She said with a small smile.
"Yes-yes. Welcome, Ms.Potter. We are proud to be of service to you in this class." Professor Kettleburn said, wheeling himself over to us.
