Eight || Patching The Hole

𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝟎𝟕𝟏𝟕𝟐𝟏

Pixis leads us to the top of the wall. He takes Eren to the side to speak with him. "I can't believe this!" Armin says freaking out.

"We're okay." I say to him, trying to calm him. Mikasa sighs and watches Pixis and Eren coming back to us.

"Eren is going to help us out." Pixis says, "We will use his abilities as a titan to patch the hole in our wall." We nod and Pixis walks to the edge of the bridge to tell everyone else about his plan.

People in the crowd freak out and start screaming. "Attention!" He screams. "I will explain our plan in more detail. Our plan is to seal the hole in our gate. I will now tell you how we will do this." He points to Eren who steps forward.

"This is Eren Jeager." The boy salutes and looks down at the people. "He has the ability to transform into a titan and move in the titans body. He will lift a large boulder to seal the gate. I want everyone else to protect him from other titans."

People start to yell again in fear of Eren not being able to pull this off. One man turns around to leave. Others start to follow behind him.

"Stop! You are commuting a crime!" The bearded man who caused Eren and the rest of us trouble says, grabbing the shoulder of a soldier. I roll my eyes, having enough of him.

"I'm spending my last moments with my family." The soldier shouts back.

"You traitors!" The bearded man yells. He draws his sword and threatens the people walking away.

"Listen to me!" Pixis yells. "I pardon those who abandon us." The bearded man turns around, shocked at Pixis letting things go again. "Those who fear the titans are not fit to be soldiers. If you have experienced this fear, you are free to leave. Also, those who want your loved ones to experience that fear should also leave."

People who had walked away stopped to regroup with the other soldiers. "We will now take back our walls with the help of Eren." Pixis says, turning back around from the crowd.

Me, Armin, Mikasa, and other soldiers gather, ready to cover Eren. A blonde woman was walking him down the wall to where the boulder was. It is our job now to protect him from the other titans.

We make our way over to a building near Eren. "You ready?" The blonde woman asks. He nods his head and bites his hand. Lightning emerges from the boy. Standing in front of us is the titan with long dark hair.

"Eren.." Mikasa says, looking at the titan. She steps forward, but his hand slams towards her. Luckily she was able to dodge his attack. Mikasa uses her 3DM gear to stand in front of the titans eye. "What's wrong, Eren?" The blonde woman shoots a red flare into the sky to signal that something went wrong.

The titan brings his hand up to slap the girl on his face, but she dodges and he ends up hitting himself. The titan falls down onto the ground. Titans swarm around Eren, and we start to cut them down.

"Someone needs to do something!" I scream. Armin makes his way over to Eren. I'm too far away to hear anything. I continue to slice the napes of titans. None of the titans gave me very much trouble. I look back over to Eren and Armin to find a sword in the nape of Eren's titan. I gasp and land on a nearby building.

"Get up Eren!" Armin screams. Eren lifts his head and bings himself up to his feet. He grabs the boulder and carries it above his shoulders. "Nice work, Armin!" I call. He nods and we follow Eren, slashing the napes of the titans around us.

Eren makes it closer and closer to the hole, obviously tired. He's now standing in front of the gate. He slams the boulder down, covering the hole and fell to the ground. The pressure from him slamming the rock causes the wind to push against my body, small amounts of dirt filling my eyes. The blonde woman shoots a green flare to signal that our mission was a success. We gather around Eren, trying to wake him back up.

A shadow appears over me. I slowly turn my head to be faced with a titan standing a couple yards away from me. Suddenly, he drops to the floor. A short man stands on the nape of the titan he had just killed. He turns his head to face us.
