Fifteen || "I like you"

I watch as their faces turn from shock to joy.

"No way!" Eren says jumping in the air.

"I am now in the Levi Squad." Those words run through their minds.

"I'm so proud of you, Y/n." Armin says.

"I'm glad someone can now watch over Eren." Mikasa says, smiling.

"The corporal already had her watching over me. He had her clean the rooms he assigned me." The blond boy and dark haired girl laugh at Eren for needing someone to watch over him when he cleans. "It's not funny!"

"It's alright, Eren. I'm not the best at cleaning either." Armin says trying to make him feel better.

"Woah what's the giggling for?" Jean asks walking up behind me and Mikasa. Mikasa sends him a glare making him freeze. He try's to play it off and looks over at me.

"Hey, gorgeous." He says.

"Jean, you look so stupid." I say making step back a bit.

"For your information, Y/n, lots of girls would like to be with me. I look amazing!" I giggle and look over at Eren who's glaring at the blond boy.

"Eren, everything good?" I ask. He looks over at me and gets rid of the glare that was on his face.

"Yeah. You know I just really don't like Jean." He says loud enough for Jean to hear him. Jean walks the other way and starts muttering insults under his breath. Eren bawls his hands into fists and takes a step towards the blond boy.

"Eren! Stop!" I say standing in front of him. Eren looks at me and the back over at Jean. "Eren, he's messing with you. If he knows that he makes you mad like this he won't stop."

"She's right." Mikasa says. Eren relaxes his hands and sits down on the ground. Nothing was calming Eren down. He was mad at Jean and we didn't know why.

"Eren, explain to me what Jean just did that made you so pissed." I say. Eren keeps his gaze down at his lap, refusing to look up at me. "Eren answer me! I had to deal with that stupid corporal ignoring me and I'm not ready to deal with this again." Eren sighs and stand back up. "Thank you. Now what made you so mad." I say.

Eren looks over at me, then Mikasa and Armin behind me. "Eren? Hello!" I say. I turn around to face Armin and Mikasa. "Um is he okay? He didn't hit his head did he?" Mikasa looks over my shoulder.

"Ereh!" She calls. The boy runs down the hallway after Jean.

"Damn it! Right when I turn around." I complain. I run after the boy. Jean was outside sitting by a tree. Eren ran to him, and it looked like he wanted to fight.

"Eren!" I call out. He didn't stop. Jean looks over his shoulder to see Eren running at him. Jean stands ready to fight the boy. Eren brings his hand closer to his mouth and bites down.

A bolt of lightning blinded me and sent me tumbling backwards. "Y/n!" Mikasa calls behind me. She catches me before I fall.

"Thanks Mikasa." The titan was now standing above Jean. "Eren stop! You can't kill Jean!" A small figure cuts through the skin of Erens titan causing his to fall forwards. Levi Ackerman stand on top of the titan and cuts into the neck.

He pulls Eren out and I run up to the boy. "Cadet L/n. What happened."

Tears stream down my face as I start to explain. "Jean came over and talked to us and then Eren chased after him. I don't know why but he wanted to hurt him and ended up turning into a titan." The captain pats my shoulder as the boy in his arms wakes up.

"Eren!" I growl. I slap him across the face. "Why would you do that!" Eren sits up on his decaying titan body.

"Y/n?"

"Explain to me! Why did you do this? Why did you run after Jean? Why were you trying to hurt him!" Eren looks at my face with tears swelling in his eyes.

"Y/n, how have you not noticed?" He asks as a tear falls out of his left eye. "How could you not figure out that I like you?" My breathing hitched and I looked up into his sad green eyes.

The corporal beside me opens his mouth to speak. "Eren, it's great you like someone. However, you caused so much trouble just now. It's possible even I could get in trouble for this. I am your supervisor and if you start pulling stuff like this, I'll kill you on the spot. Don't make me take care of you because you have a crush on a girl." The corporal says irritated as he grabs our hands. He leads us off of the titan and sits us down in the grass.

"Eren, I need you to act more responsibly. If Y/n had come any closer to you, you could have killed her. You also could have killed Jean, a soldier of ours. I'm disappointed that I have to take more of my attention I could use on useful things and focus on keeping your ass and the asses around you safe." Eren looks at his feet while and kicks a rock. "I might as well leave the two of you alone now." The corporal says as he walks away.

I look over at Eren. His gaze hasn't left the ground and he seems embarrassed. Mikasa and Armin run up behind us. "Ereh!" Mikasa says angrily, "What has gotten into you!"

"Mikasa." I say trying to calm her down. "I think we should leave Eren alone for a while." She looks at the boy, who's gaze still haven't left the ground. She nods and turns around to walk away. "Come on,  Armin." I say taking his hand. We make our way back to my room and spend the rest of the day in each other's company.
