Eleven || Our Old Friend

I ride my horse alongside Mikasa and Armin. We were headed to a castle where the Survey Corps are staying.

"I can't wait to see Eren again!" Armin says, squirming on his horse in excitement.

"Me too!" I exclaim. I look over at Mikasa who smiles and holds the scarf around her neck closer to her face. I know she's missed Eren the most out of all of us. She's been with him for so long.

My horse follows the others in front of us as I take a moment to look at the scenery around me. We were in a forest and the birds were chirping loudly.

My horse continues to walk, the sun hitting my face with each tree I pass. I look over at Jean and remember a time when he and Eren got into another petty argument.

Flashback~~~

"I'm way stronger than you are!" Jean teases as he looks down at Eren. Eren pushes the boy away from him.

"What's going on here!" I yell running towards the two boys.

"Y/n, it's nothing." Eren says looking away from me.

"This loser is so weak. He seriously dropped the box with our 3DM Gear in it." Jean explains.

"I told you my hand slipped!"

"Yeah, keep making excuses."

"Shut up!" I say as the boys turn their heads over to me.

"Eren be respectful when a girl is in front of you." Jean whispers. Eren stomps away to find Mikasa to vent.

"So," Jean starts, "What are you doing for dinner?" I flip him off and walk away.

End of Flashback, I don't know what that was either~~~

I smirk at the memory. The boys here were soldiers but they acted like toddlers. In the distance, I could see a stone building.

"There it is!" Someone in front of us calls. Me, Armin, and Mikasa look at each other smiling, ready to meet with our friend.

As the castle comes closer and closer into view, I get more and more anxious. I know Eren would be happy to see us, but I'm overthinking my relationship with him, thinking he won't want to see us.

We pull over to the stables and lead our horses into their own separate stables. We follow the crowd to see the inside of the castle.

"Mikasa... Armin... Y/n?" I hear a familiar voice behind me.

"Eren!" We all exclaim at the same time. We run up to the boy and give him a hug.

"Come get your capes!" A man behind us calls, giving us our green capes. Eren smiles and we run to get our clothes.

I wander into a room of the castle and see the back of Eren's head. "Hey Eren!" I say making him turn around to face me.

"Y/n!" I give him another hug.

"We missed you! Are they treating you okay?"

"Yes. They have to keep me sleeping in the basement in case anything goes wrong, but other than that they treat me just fine."

I nod as I hear footsteps outside of the door.

"Brat what are you doing!" I turn and see Levi Ackerman staring straight into my eyes. I knew this guy was short based on what he looked like next to the commander, Erwin. Eren notices how I'm about an inch shorter than the tiny corporal and starts to snicker. The corporal glares at the boy, and we both salute.

"Are you deaf?" He asks me.

"No sir. I was just saying hi to Eren."

"Tch." He takes a bucket and hands it over to me. "Go clean that room." He points to a door.

"Sir, I just got here."

"Your a part of the Survey Corps now, it's time you start taking care of you duties. Besides, there's nothing for you to do today. We're spending the day cleaning."

I nod and open the door to the room. I look around and see shelves upon shelves of books. A light dust covered everything.

"That dumb clean freak corporal." I sigh and get to work.

Note: I know some people are not as short or shorter than Levi. I personally am not but I just wanted to make it this way in the story. If you wish to be taller than him, that is fine too. I don't plan on writing much about height so you can be however tall you want!
