Six || Introduction of The Attack Titan

𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝟎𝟕𝟏𝟕𝟐𝟏

I grip my 3DM gear onto the titan and push down on the gas, but nothing comes out.

"Damn it!" I curse under my breath. I had just run out of gas right after Mikasa.

I stumble down to the ground, just like Mikasa had. I throw my arms over my face, making sure to not injure my head as I hit the ground.

"(Y/n)!" Mikasa calls, grabbing onto me and helping me up. She grabs onto me trying to get me away from the titan.

A loud thumping noise could be heard on the other side of the alley way. I trembled at the thought of this being my end. Mikasa sensed my fear, turning her head around to find the titan that was standing behind us.

"(Y/n)," she started, "I'll find a way to get us out of this mess, I promise you."

The titan from behind us made its way into our view. He had emerald green eyes and long dark hair. I understood now that there wasn't much of a way for Mikasa and I to get out of here. I'd probably have to use myself as bait so she can get out.

"I'm so sorry." I whisper to her. I push her away from me, hiding her being some crates. I planned for her to hide herself from the titans as she got out of here while I stood in the middle of the two.

"What are you doing?" She yells, pushing the crates out of her way.

"Just get out of here, Mikasa." I call. "Just go."

Mikasa didn't like this plan in the slightest. At the moment, there were too many objects blocking her path so she couldn't get to me in time. The two titans started closing in on me, their footsteps becoming louder and louder. I shut my eyes, preparing for the end. A moment later, I hear the impact. But for some reason, I couldn't feel a thing.

I open my eyes slowly, only to see the dark haired titan punching the other. I look back to where I had left Mikasa, her mouth open i. shock. I hurry over to her, helping her remove the crates that were in her way.

"How could you be so stupid!" She yells, grabbing onto my shoulders.

"Let's not worry about that right now." I said, grabbing onto her hand. "We need to get out of here." She nods and the two of us begin making our way back to the headquarters.

The journey consisted of the two of us hiding from the titans and quickly moving once they turned their heads. Luckily, the two of us make it back in once piece.

As we filled our gas tanks, the loud thuds of titans walking around the building make everyone shiver. And for a moment, everything went quiet. The silence was then interrupted when a titan's head broke into the wall of the building, earning shrieks from everyone inside. Just a minute later, the titan that saved me and Mikasa had punched the side of this titans face, causing it to fall back.

Titans swarm around the male titan, trying to fight back at it. He was really strong, and ripped apart the titans that were around. "Guys we need to make a plan." Armin says, grabbing our attention.

"What do we do?" I ask. Armin unfolds a piece of paper and takes a quill to write on it.

"We will be lowered down. Some of us will be waiting in the ceiling to make a move, and the rest will be aiming their guns at the titans." Armin continues to go over the plan. I can't keep my mind in the room. Instead, I'm constantly sneaking peeks outside to see the long haired titan. Why is he fighting his own kind?

I wait patiently in the ceiling. A small elevator with Armin and the other soldiers in it had their guns facing all around the perimeter of the box. Titans swarmed them ready to devour them all.

I waited until it was time. "Now!" Armin exclaimed. Everyone shot the titans in their eyes, and I came down and slashed the napes. Sasha and Connie had missed, so me and Mikasa took care of the titans.

"It worked Armin!" I say giving him a thumbs up. He smiles down at me and we went back outside to fight off more titans.

I look over and see the dark haired titan struggling with the titans surrounding him. "Should we help him?" I ask. Mikasa shakes her head.

"It's a titan, Y/n. We have nothing to do with it. Let it hurt it's kind if it wants. This doesn't effect us." I nod and watch as he's attacked from all sides. Once it looked like he was dead, the titans that once swarmed him started walking away.

Everyone that was watching from the roof also decides to turn back around. "Mikasa..." I whisper. I point my finger to the nape of the titan that was sitting on the ground. Her gaze follows my finger, taking in the sight on the titan. Eren emerges from the nape of the titan. Me and Mikasa rush down to him.

"Ereh!" She calls.

"Is he breathing?" I ask. She moves her head down to his chest to listen and nods her head. I smile and hold his hand while Mikasa huggs him, crying.

People swarm around us, forcing us to walk down to an arena. Soldiers surround us with their swords pointed at us. Eren wakes up behind us.

"Where are we?" Mikasa turns her head to the boy.

"Ereh!"

"Cadets Eren Jeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlet, and F/n L/n! The four of you have committed an act of treason!" A man yells above us. "You will be executed. Try moving, and you will be hit by our cannon!" Erens eyes widen as he takes a look around him.

Cannons were aimed down at us, and there was no way for us to escape. "Answer my question, Eren Jeager." The man continues, "Are you a human or a titan?"
